APs TD Run

Overrated...Heath completely picks him up and their TE/OL pushed him into the endzone. If a Viking does not hold up Peterson, the mighty Jeff Heath body slams Peterson Undertaker style.

This pretty much.

Except make the tackle.

Unless he turns into Bobby Boucher, I am not sure he can do more on that play besides pick up Peterson, a guy who ran over people for 2000 yards last year, off his feet until that TE comes and holds up 28 from getting put on his back.

AP is a joy to watch. Coming out of Oklahoma I had my doubts about the guy, however, the doubts were clearly unfounded.

I honestly think he is is the most violent RB I've seen since Earl Campbell.

Really good terms for comparison even if Campbell....ask the Rams LB ;)

I think had Heath not stripped at the ball he may have brought AP down before the endzone. I think AP is a very good RB and had a couple of big runs. He was also stuffed on a 4th and 1 when Vikes choose to go for the 1st instead of taking the FG. Bet they wished they had that call back. lol

Ap or ad is a truly great back. I wonder if we had him how much would we feature him in this offense

 get in position, break down, form tackle, pick up the best rb in the game, start to slam him and someone keeps him upright, nothing anyone in the league could have better.

actually durant keeps him from being put on his back, the TE holds him up right after that just enough that his knee doesn't go down.

looked like AP was going in at the point heath tried for the strip, would probably have been the only way AP doesn't score at that point, pretty heads up is the way I saw it.

If Wilber helps with the tackle instead of going for the ball, he would've gone down before his man carried him in.

Maybe he would have scored I don't know but Dallas had a chance to bring him down and failed. Look I'm not upset, last thing I wanted was 1st and goal from the 1 yard line Minn likely picks that up within 3 plays and eats up clock in the process. I was willing to conceed it to get the ball back and some time left to work with.

I think if that TE wasn't there to catch his fall he would have been slammed on his back. Watch the replay again. Obviously a hell of a run and he's the best there is, but it doesn't appear to me, it was all AP.

This is exactly what happened. Amazing the talking heads can't see that.

Like you say, he is the best, and is a beast, ... but if the TE does not catch him we bury him.
