True but easily the weakest link and he’s worse by the year . Unless they run all the time we can get better there

I'm a bit confused about FO ability to spend in FA now that Pickens has been tagged.

I read on this forum, by a few, that this will hamstring the FO ability to make moves when FA starts.

Can someone clear this up for me? I'd really appreciate it.

It won't hamstring the Cowboy one bit. They can create the 2nd most cap space of any team in the league. If at any point they say they are prevented from signing any more FA's they are lying unless they signed a bunch of them already.

They're not paying any attention to offense. They will completely fixate on defense so that this time next year they can be surprised that the offense declined.

So we can sign guys in two weeks and do the restructuring or long term deal with Pickens later. In that case it could make sense to wait to do the deal, see how far over we are and how to structure that big one
