In a cap driven parity based league no team will be great at everything. In a passing league I will take the best pass rush in the NFL.
Exactly.

You seem really bitter.
I'll let you be.
Nor did they intend to try to get back into it. They ran out the clock to keep us from putting a 50 burger on them.Perhaps part of the remedy is to play with a lead and force the other team to throw. Bears didn’t do that and carved up the Cowboys. They however didn’t have time to score enough points to win by running the ball.
Yes but unfortunately we won't get that early lead all the time so they gonna have to figure it out.Whenever we get the lead early we dictate our opponents need to pass more which plays into our strength on defense .
I thought we stopped the run when it mattered on Sunday. I think as long as we can get teams to third down we’ll have an advantage.
I though on early downs we did a good job containing cook. Even if we give up a little pass rush to do so… so be it. Everyone maintain their responsibilities and stop the run. Hankins made a big difference as well.
now the key is how would we hold up vs a 49er type offense…. Or running qbs. Which seem to give us problems
Did you watch the Philly game? I watched the replay and unfortunately I agree with you....Suh and Joseph played really well for the eagles and they looked like a different team versus the run. Much better than old man hankins so far.It will be interesting to watch the run D trajectories of both us and Philly. Both Ds struggled at stopping the run. We grabbed Hankins. Philly double dipped with Suh and Joseph. For one game, the Eagles new acquisitions helped stifle Taylor and Indy. While Cook didn't have a lot of yards, he had a very high ypc and if the game was close, he easily would have eclipsed 100 yards.
