Jones said he’ll have lunch with Leonard, who had two back surgeries in 2022. “It’s not real hard to look and see what kind of player he’s been. He’s been outstanding during his career. We’ll want to check his health, see where he is, see where his current, current [health] — right now, this year, for the rest of the year. We’ll look at that, and that’s what he’s doing right now as we’re speaking.” He latter added: “Where he is healthwise is what it’s all about as far as evaluating anything.”
