Eagles are cap strapped. They have about $2.4 million to work with.
The Colts have to pay him this year minus what he signs for for the balance of the season. And he can’t sign for more. But, and I imagine this is what he’s interested in, next season and the season after that. Don’t know Philly’s cap situation next year, but this year’s cap situation has no bearing on where he signs.

they're cash strapped but would probably still somehow make the deal. They should cut the safety they just traded for lol

You disagree with this when they win every game at home by more than 20 and their 3rd corner is setting NFL records?
I was just being sarcastic, all of this is fine, but will it continue. This is the past to me, seattle right now is the present, what are we going to do????

I live in Colts’ territory and get most of their games.

My personal opinion is that he is washed. He has been flat out bad, and his previous injury has sapped his athleticism.
maybe the big stage, and reminding him how we've won 5 rings in the PAST will help make his decision much easier!!

Pass on a guy that was all pro 3 out of 4 years hes played?

Makes sense.
It certainly makes sense when there is concern in the Colts organisation that he was not playing to a high enough level and despite being on a play off push they wanted to get their younger players more snaps ahead of him.

It's interesting to me that the Colts let him walk, but I think it's definitely worth kicking the tires on him. Maybe a new coaching staff/team/location is just what he needs. All of this assuming he is healthy (which I guess would be an obvious if Dallas signed him).
