He’s still absolutely better than anyone they’ve added to try to replace him.

Eagles during the Hurts span has always been about their run game and their elite line. If they cannot get their run game going again, it won't matter who they have at receiver, but if they do, I expect them to have success as teams will be loading the box which will give those receivers a ton of single matchups.

It will be interesting to see if he's in decline or if it was more a product of the offensive system and the QB. And even in decline, he still led the Eagles in receptions last year as their No. 1 receiver.

As I mentioned in another response, Eagles success is all about their ground attack. Last season they had a ton of injuries up front and were in the most 3rd and long's, where Hurts had his struggles. When teams loaded the box in the past, that is when Brown/Smith/TE took advantage of single coverages.

Tough call. Eagles have a lot of young talent on their defense and a decent amount on offense but they are just imploding on and off the field. They have a crap culture (does trading one player change your culture?) and even with a great DC, suspect coaching overall (how badly does losing Stoutland hurt them). They are clearly dropping to the pack. They look more talented overall on paper, although they may have just had a draft they regret and our draft looks even better than it did on draft day. Toss up IMO. My gut says there isn't enough talent on offense any longer for the Eagles to overcome Hurts' flaws this year. Hopefully it's us that steps up.

One team has had consistent success and championship pedigree. The other team is the Cowboys. Who will win between 9 - 10 games this year.

If people think losing Stoutland (who was the run game coordinator last year) and AJ Brown are enough to completely disjoint the entire Eagles offense? Well then its clear that yall don't actually know ball. The main issue for the Eagles last year was healthy oline play. Which could potentiallt he an issue this year again, but won't be in the since where they had a regular offseason and guys were able to rest. Lane Johnson missed half the season. And the Gs and Center was hurt all year. And they STILL won 11 games and the division.

Eagles will have some growing pains for sure. And there is nothing wrong with being hopeful about the Cowboys prospects. But acting like they all of a sudden are world beaters. Is hilarious. All this talk about the Eagles key players getting older, is also comedy cemrral Like Dak, CeeDee and company are on the Peter Pan work out plan and don't age.

Can't wait for the season to start.

Isn't it ironic that the guy who drones on about copium and such put people down and claimed they didn't know ball, when he himself didn't even notice the myriad of players the Eagles have lost the last 2 years? This is a new year the last two years we didn't make the playoffs It's been frustrating especially last year with a great offense and a terrible defense I just want them to get back to winning I want a winning record hopefully maybe fight for the division but just get in the playoffs and maybe win a game.. That is a step, I mean that is all I'm expecting this year is progress but not from where we picked up last time we were in the playoffs, no that that was Dan Quinn and Mike McCarthy and we're way past that...

This is a relatively brand-new coaching staff on both sides I mean year two for the offense year one for the defense, a bunch of new players on defense,

right now the Texas Rangers are fighting for number one and there are two games below 500 trying to win their division.. Thought I'd throw that in there that doesn't make them a bad team that makes it a A product of parity.

The NFL created the system they are in now, for parity, and apparently, it working as planned in many situations.
