Obviously some hyperbole there, but you can take away any one player from the Commanders and they will be okay.

Not just okay, they can be even better.

Like when the pathetic starting QB of the future, 1st round pick and heir apparent to the magnificent Mark Brunell went down, and the 36 year old 14 year vet who hadn't thrown a pass in half a century came in, and suddenly the Commanders had a functional offense.

Those were great times. And Jason Campbell has apparently been awarded the starter's job for his inept performance. That's an even better time.

It's good to know that you're content with the Commanders having no players who are so good that they can change a game on their own. Heck, the starting RB who you traded Champ Bailey and a second round pick for can easily be replaced with Ladell Betts.

The mediocrity is adorable. ;)

UM when was this? Did I miss simething? He was off one game. The eagles game.

He was still sharp in washington the one game without him you know when sam hurd and miles austin were running past and free of your corners. They just didnt catch the ball that day.

Please give specific examples of when romo threw int without Owens.

To me that means mediocre. Yeah sure, congrats on being mediocre. Kudos on 3rd place in the Division.

Ouch...

In all honesty, I'm less worried about the Commanders than I have been recently.

They should be the ones who are worried.

Worried that Joe Gibbs is gone for good

Worried that they have a coach with zero experience, even at the NFL coordinator level

Worried that they let a great defensive coordinator leave town

Worried that they're overhauling their offense

Worried that they're putting their still-devopling quarterback into the #1 spot

Worried that they're putting said quarterback in an offense ill-suited to his strengths

Worried that age will once again come back to bite them in the injury department

I think the Commanders most definitely encounter some growing pains and I expect them to take a step back this year.

Great Article on Skins draft, and Commanders No UDFA Signings? If you go to Commanders ES board you will see no threads about yall draft picks, nothing on no cowboys player and nothing about cowboys team. Commanders dont care what yall do. Why are yall paying so much attention of Washington Commanders? Guess cowboys fan will find out on September 28 how we did on draft day.

That's got to be something to worry anyone. What train of thought could have possibly led them to think that this was a good idea?

"Let's see....we've got a big, mauling offensive line. We've got a QB who struggles with making quick decisions, but has a huge arm. we've got a good downhill running game...what can we do to best utilize this talent?"

I know! Let's install the west coast offense!

Exactly my thinking. They had a veteran team (outside of the QB) and a system in place that they sepnt several years putting in place.

And what do they do?

Blow it up and bring in something ill-suited to the players.

Helps the rest of the division I guess.

One less team to worry about.

Support group:
A group of people, sometimes led by a therapist, who provide each other moral support, information, and advice on problems relating to some shared characteristic or traumatic experience.

In case you guys didn’t know, the Extremskins site qualifies as a support group for Commander fans that have suffered severe trauma at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys. I can only imagine the grief that those guys are going through after so many years of being non-competitive. It could drive someone insane or even drive some one to self-inflicted injuries. Therefore, such a forum is needed for Commander fans to cope with everyday life.

The morning has been so slow for me I actually read this train wreck

Thanks for the entertainment Cowboy fans and Commander fans alike

As for the seriousness of this thread, I have no clue why any NFC team would be worried about the Commanders....yet. I still have no clue what to think of the team until I see Jim Zorn actually coach a game

Yes, you did miss something. He wasn't in for the Commanders and I've seen plenty of excuses saying that if TO wasn't hobbled, you would have blown out the Giants.

Oh, okay, you were referring to Romo, no, he looked like butthole that day. Brad Johnson came in and did a better job.

Or it could have been when Romo hit his hand on a helmet....

Sometimes you have to pay attention or else you miss reality.

End of the day the Commanders will be ranked bottom of the NFCE by virtually everyone. Not much to worry about.

Dallas does depend upon T.O.
Our offense actually looks a lot like the Skins offense when T.O. is out. That is what happens when you scare no one. But that's why Jerry is targeting a vet Wr same as little danny was before he blew his wad on this sad draft class.
Romo hit his hand on a helmet... OH THE HORROR. That was brave of Romo to continue to play after a horrific injury like that.

thats totally false.my roommate is on ES from sun up to sun down. and all you guys make are bias predictions and ludacris hopes for your simply average team. Why don't you take look back at your predictions when WP took over..many of you said 5-11. But when the Skins get a new coaching staff (one with 0! experience) everything is just peachy. You guys are better than the Sunday comics:laugh2:

Jason Campbell is ahead of most of his peers. Go figure.

So Portis can't take over a game? Right... Ladell Betts is as good? Okay... Or maybe, we have two backs that are better than your pro bowl RB.

You are as lame as your vomit coloured jerseys, your racist team name and your madden obsessive head coach.

Last time I checked, Clinton Portis is worried about what Britney Spears costume he'll be wearing to the next press conference opposed to reading a defense. Marion Barber eats both of your pretend running backs for breakfast kiddo.

I'd rather have Mike Vick straight out of prison ball as my QB rather than Jason Campbell.

So you expect some kind of accolades for the season you had? 13-3 and an early exit from the playoffs...

If I REALLY had to choose Id rather be a team that went 13-3 with an early exit than a 9-7 team with an even earlier exit.....
