I watched the Saints destroy the Patriots last night and I can say without a doubt that we are not EVEN in the same league with those guys right now.

:banghead:

Are we in the same league with the Saints team that barely beat the Rams, 28-23?

As far as the OP is concerned, I think any NFL team that is 8-3 after 11 games should be considered a legit contender.

I am truely amazed at the number of you that have the confidence of a gnat in this team, you say they can't beat this one and they can't beat that one, and the only way to proove themselves is by winning the next three games, Good Lord you dont want much, but lets pretend for a moment we take in to consideration all 5 games we have left, Philly, Washed up, the gimps, the chargers, and the saints............... we have played 3 of these already winning 2 and should have been 3, so it is quite obvious we can beat them, and in a stand of teams with the rankings these offenses and defenses have, I personally will take 3 out of 5 and laugh all the way to the superbowl, hopefully you aren't as requiring of your families and friends, if so you have none...........................

When someone can accurately and honestly illustrate how New Orleans is unbeatable, I will then say that no team, including the Cowboys, can beat them.

Good luck to whoever's up to that challenge.

Additionally, the Vikings are not on our '09 schedule. It is an incorrect assumption to make that a 1-loss team in Week 11 is a shoe-in for the Divisional or Conference Round games. The possibilities exist that this team can win in the postseason and not face Minnesota. Only time will tell for certain.

Even if we have to play Minny or New Orleans in the playoffs than that is fine by me.

The only thing I worry about is playing meaningful games against Philly in back to back weeks.

I hope we somehow clinch the division in week 16, philly is already eliminated, and maybe we can rest our players if getting a bye isn't an option.

Exactly.

NO was incredible last night that is for sure, but they have not been playing like that for the past few weeks. They have been struggling at times and down in the first halves of games.

So, yeah I don't think we can beat the team if we had played them last night but I think we can match up with them pretty well.

Minnesota is not unbeatable, I would like our chances against them.

It's fine by me as well about potential matchups regardless of the team. Football is still just football, especially when two talented teams are matched up. It's the 'everything is certain to happen' theme which I question. However, I don't feel that both Philadelphia isn't good enough or that Minnesota or New Orleans is great enough that we will rest starters at the end of the season. In my opinion, we will be playing every starter straight up from here on out. Here's hoping for zero significant injuries during that stretch. :crossed:
