I have been hearing how popular teams like the Raiders, Steelers and Patriots have become over the last few years or so, especially in merchandise sales. Got me thinking about regional teams vs teams that are more popular widespread like the Cowboys, Raiders, Steelers and Dolphins. So I was just wondering what percentage of the fans who frequent this website are actually from Texas, andwhat percentage live in other parts of the country. Should be interesting......

As soon as the Cowboys start winning big again look how much Merchandise you'll start to see again. Remember all the fans we had in the 90's, they have gone underground because we have been bad for 10 years.

I live in the middle of Commanders country- Alexandria, VA. Although I did just move here from the Dallas area a couple of months ago so I don't know how much that counts.

I can tell you the Cowboys are still Americas team. We have people traveling from all over to watch the Cowboys play. There are still alot of away stadiums that we play in where Cowboy fane dominate the home crowd. Winning again will only remind all the hates out there that the Cowboys are and forever will be Americas Team.

I thought so too. I have been to games both in New Orleans and multiple times in Detroit when I lived there. Both places you can safely say, at the very least 20%+ were cowboys fans in the stadium. And most of the guys are local residents unlike the Steeler fans who travel really well.

I am from NY. We have ALOT of Cowboys fans here. We for the most part represent ALL THE TIME (win or lose).

I think the Patriots came closest to maybe borrowing the America's Team label after winning after 9/11... but for the most part - NO.

Cowboys will always be America's Team. It started out as (inadvertant)PR and now its all world of mouth and marketing...

Wasn't sure how to answer. I was born about 50 miles from Dallas, but was raised in California after 2 yrs of age. I now live in Hawaii.

I selected Texas as my answer. Once a Texan always a Texan.
