That 6-5 out of the division could and should have easily been 8-3 if it wasn't for some very questionable officiating.

The playoff record the last 27 years has little to do with this current team. This team is not a true contender. Are you expecting some kind of SB run this year? Did you think they were a true contender going into last year?

We felt this back when Parcells was building the team and again during part of Garrett’s tenure like after 2014.

In the end results matter. That’s how we will always judge. Until someone gets it done late in January and beyond it’s all just hype.

We’ve gone too long with the same dysfunctional leadership and toxic culture to believe . Results matter!

I know it's hard to be positive or have faith after 27 years of futility, but this coaching staff and scouts are building a very good team of very talented youth who are determined.

No one said results dont matter. So are you saying your are incapable of evaluating what is currently happening? Or are you just one of those fans that can only figure something out after they win it all?

I agree. There is a stark difference in what we are building at the moment with MM and Quinn at the helm.

That doesnt mean that things will be different. They still continue to fail to use FA properly. Will they do it when they need to in the next few years? I have my doubts.

True contender is a subjective phrase. Winning a division going 12-5 could be defined as contender.

While I’d agree we weren’t in a sense a true contender that’s not what our leadership , coaching and players would have you believe .

I’d agree with some of your premise here but this is not what our franchise is attempting to sell us.

They don't want the team to pay to keep their own talented players, but yet they want them to bring in high priced FA's, that their own team discarded, or are an aging player.

Who is the problem? Those who believe and support, or those who don't believe but complain nonstop yet still follow what you don't like?

In most situations those who speak up and don't buy everything they are sold are usually the groups that cause change to take place. When you display your displeasure it's hard to just ignore it.

The ones who blindly clap like seals, pump their chest because of meaningless stuff, brag about success from a quarter of a century ago, and do as they are told like good little followers are the ones who enable ineptitude to continue to flourish and run rampant.

I'll support this team my way and you support the team your way, k?

I think based on this current young squad that 12-5 would be a quality season. To have the kind of turnover that we did with veterans and replace them with young guys and maintain the quality would be a plus.

I meant that 12-5 last year does not make their approach a winning one overall (especially when it included yet another playoff choke at home), which was as least part of your original point....unless that's not what you meant by "mad."

And that’s assuming they’ll still be here. Another disappointing ending to this season could stir the pot. It’s so difficult to look ahead with our dysfunctional leadership.

Personally I dont like how they use FA. And they usually wind up overspending for their own guys until this year.

However, I also think this offseason was the time to pay big money for an over the hump FA.

Ultimately nothing to analyze until we have some results . Otherwise it becomes more of a fortune teller which I’m not.

Im glad you feel good about how we’re building the team which I’m not arguing.

Personally I make my predictions based on results , prior history and current trends . Once those begin to develop as the season unfolds I can provide a better sense.
