Are these two players Diggs and Parsons really that great?

Micah is awesome. He is a game changer.

Diggs is extremely good, one of the ballhawk CBs that this fan base has been asking for for years. Fans complained about how they’d give up a smidgeon of Byron Jones’ tight coverage ability if he got more picks.

Well, now we have that guy, so people are whining about how he’s not as tight in coverage as they’d like. Still, he’s a true #1 CB. 17 INTs in his first 3 seasons speaks for itself.
but couldn't get one when it mattered or even attempt a tackle.

May be other teams have have caught on to their play, and have adjusted. Most do eventually.
Good ones figure out and learn other ways to make impact....

I think Diggs is overrated…he is the perfect example of a player who doesn’t play within the system and takes too many chances to go for the interceptions and the stats. After all…it’s the stats that are going to get him paid.

Also he needs to be a better tackler. I think the days of being a pure cover corner are gone; you have to come up and stick the WR in todays game, especially with the rules in place essentially putting the shackles on DBs in coverage.

Would I love to see Diggs as a CB on the Cowboys’ roster? You bet…but not at some exhorbitant cost. Besides…this team has a history of signing players to lucrative 2nd contracts, who end up under-performing; they quit being the player that got them paid.

Let’s maybe focus on improving the pass rush as a way of indirectly improving the secondary.

I’d trade em both for draft capital. We are going to waste them anyway.

Diggs is over hyped cause of one season . And Parsons while great is inconsistent. He disappears in some games .
This is why i can't stand some of our fans.

This has nothing to do with football, someone said it best earlier "we can't have nice things". Yeah lets not pay Diggs so we can get a cover corner that is so good that people don't even throw his way. Oh that's right that's what we have in Diggs. Who cares what Micah Tweets, does he still make plays? That's all you should care about.

Look around the board a lot of fans here want to move on from all of our best players. They don’t want to pay anyone. Parsons is starting to receive some negative commentary from a few fans. Lol

We would not miss Diggs, period. Corners have to make tackles in the "today NFL", you know he doesn't make tackles now, wait until he gets the cheddar somewhere! And QB's definitely started goin his way.

I think they are both good.

Micah is an animal. Nuff' said.

Diggs is pretty good. I think he's worth keeping around on the team. At what cost though? That's a tough one. I'm not sure you reset the CB market on him, but I do think he has mostly earned a nice check. Problem is, the NFL is known for overpaying players, so it might put you in a predicament if you're wanting to keep him. Overall though, I do think he is a good corner. Sure, he can be a little feast or famine, but he has taken some good players out of the game for the defense. The biggest issue, as you all already know, are his tackling skills. They will have you pulling your hair out. That whiff on Kittle in the playoffs was just.......I can't swear on here. lol

Parsons is flat out great. He is a complete game changer. Our defense was not just bad before he came it was all time historically bed.

Diggs is a very good player and he has play making skills but he is selfish. He cares more about keeping his jersey clean and keeping his bank account topped up than he cares about being great.

You saw what Diggs was like before he got his giant pile of cash. Just wait until you see him after. This type of player does not tend to get better after getting paid. I would be very concerned that we have already seen the very best Diggs we will ever see. Not much reason to expect his career trajectory to go up from here. Is he capable of becoming the best CB in the entire NFL? Sure is. Does he exhibit the qualities of a human that get better after signing a big contract? Sure doesn't.

Both are fantastic. There are a laundry list of players I’d take issue with on this team before I took a look at these two

Micah faded and looked worn down right after the Thanksgiving game.

The Diggs of 2021 simply didn't show up in 2022.

Diggs rocked this year. Fans will complain about they tackles they seem him half-***, but you know what you didn't see? Mike Evans and Deebo catching passes in playoff games.
