Parsons is great.

Diggs is very good but really has to put some effort into tackling or he won't deserve the next contract he is looking for!

Are these two players Diggs and Parsons really that great, or are they being labeled as great because of one stellar season???

Micah rookie year
Diggs career year when he had over 10 interceptions
Micah. yes. but Quinn is wearing him out playing at DE because he really doesn't have anybody as effective. he got worn down by end of the season.

Diggs is not great. he is not a great cover corner IMHO. and when he doesn't take chances he doesn't get interceptions and when he does, then he gives up big plays. his refusal to tackle is concerning as it directly hurt us in stopping big plays against SF.

Great varies from game to game. Diggs ducks his head and misses a big hit, and he's not great; in fact, to many of our fans, he becomes a chump. Never mind the games where he hardly allowed a reception or knocked away catches to help us win.

Fans here were all over Micah in the few games where he didn't have much of an impact, and last year's San Fran game where he suffered a blow to the head.

Micah=great.
Diggs=Not so much.

Diggs is too scared to make tackles now, must have took a hit and told himself "forget that %$#&". I'd pay him average or below average.

Parsons can be, but if they aren't more careful with him he will wear out too fast kinda like in the later part of last season. Diggs is good but not on the same level.

Parson's is a generational talent at LB, if the Cowboys don't wear him out trying to make a DE out of him.
Diggs is above average but not worth a cap breaking salary imho.

Diggs looked terrible and usually chasing relievers on crossing routes. Interceptions??? What the hell happened Diggs????

I’d trade em both for draft capital. We are going to waste them anyway.

Diggs is over hyped cause of one season . And Parsons while great is inconsistent. He disappears in some games .
Parsons consistently brings pressure I don’t know about him disappearing.

If you want to make the debate about Diggs seeing as how he had 1 amazing year due to his 11 INT's then that is a fair debate. His opposing comp % increased in 2022 (52.4% in 2021 and 64.7% in 2022) while his yards per completion decreased (16.8 ypc in 2021 and 12.2 ypc in 2022)....which tells me he either chose to or it was part of the game plan to play off of WR's. That said his missed tackle percentage decreased dramatically (16.1% in 2021 and 1.7% in 2022) which perhaps plays into the playing off the WR issue.

However, Parsons had 13 sacks his rookie season and 13-1/2 this season and is the undeniable heart of the defense in only his second year in the league.
Why do people think that corners can choose how far off to play? They can only play the defense called.
