Are Washington and Oakland must wins now?

They are very important to win considering the schedule left afterwards. They are not must wins. Must wins are you must win to stay alive the next week.

Wins against Washington and Oakland will refresh the season and get some postive momentum going into December.

I wish I had your confidence. I will not be suprised if we lose to both of these teans, since our team will be heavily favored to win and think "we just have to step on the field to win. so let's get ready for 'Victory Monday' instead of prepare"...

Today's loss hurt us in more ways than just adding another L to our win/loss column. Had we won, we would have pretty much buried Green Bay as far as the playoffs go. We would have basically had a 3 game lead on them and the tiebreaker. Now, if we don't win the division, we better hope we don't finish with the same record as Green Bay because they now own the tiebreaker. We're only a game up on them right now and we have a much tougher schedule left.

I think GB is gonna choke down the stretch. It's the 9ers (4-5) season next week, it's do or die for them. The only game they will win for sure are against the Lions.

They have Ravens, @Bears, @Steelers, Seahawks (maybe another very winnable game), and @Cards.

Listening to the guys in the post game show, they already know how tough the washington game will be.

There is no worry of overconfidence with me with this group this year.

I think they are must wins if we still want to win the division or get that 1st round bye.

If we win the next 2 than it may put a bigger chip on our shoulders when we go to the Meadowlands.

That isn't the case at all. This team knows what's at stake.

It's a division rival
Maintain first place in division
Revenge from last years loss
It's a division rival

If that isn't enough to motivate..well...don't even bother coming out on the field.

Yes, they are must wins because we need momentum going into December. This team bought into the hype too much and played flat. Now they need to play pissed off. That doesn't accomplish anything unless you win.

So yes, they are must wins and they are bad teams. If you can't beat bad teams you can't beat good ones when it counts.

Absolutely. They are must wins.

If we win them, and we should, we are going to be in prime position to win the division.

I dont think personally that this team bought the hype or played flat. OUr defense was fabulous today. When the injuries started and the t.o.p added up it was just too much.

On offense, they just outplayed us. We have had a problem protecting romo, particularly with free rushers coming right up the middle and today it caught up with us because other guys made huge mistakes on top of that.

The Packers won't win every game they play, probably lose to Bears, Steelers and Ravens. Yes I would have preferred winning and burying them but the chances of us winning both of these road games was not high. We won the tougher of the two games and were due for a loss.

Re the next two, must wins is always a hard thing to say because what do you do if you lose? Fold?

Our last five are tough but only New Orleans looks like an unwinnable game.

I'd say yes to Washington because it's a division game, home game and we can't afford to lose another NFC game. Oakland may not be a must win, but if the Cowboys lose to them, it will hard to be optimistic going forward.

The Cowboys showed a lot of weaknesses today. Teams will capitalize on those weaknesses. The injuries will come back to haunt also. I'd say this loss was huge.

Washington and Oakland should be must wins for any winning team in this case. You can't lose games like that and be successful, or shouldn't.

The injuries do concern me. The O line was confused today with Colombo out there. How will we fare going forward without him? I know one thing, we'd better do a better job picking up blitzes or everyone will use that formula against us. I wish we would make the opponent pay more often for bringing the house.

Fair enough.

I kind of expected to lose today because Green Bay are a good team and their backs were against the wall.

I still think the over reactions to a loss are hilarious. Look at the traffic counts this long after a loss. Remember the number you see. Compare it to after the next win. Amazing dichotomy that is constantly denied.

If that doesn't scream volumes about fan cockroaches...nothing will.
