LOL I don’t even know who’s Going to make it to free agency this off-season… But there will be players available. I can say with absolute certainty though, that having an extra 50 million dollars in cap space this off-season would be a very very good thing.

Just remember the only thing we have to make a prediction is past performance. That 49ers game was just a complete wreck from Dak. Yeah we know the defense wasn't good at stopping the run but the 49ers do that to everyone. This #1 offense was putrid as usual against a solid team. The passing game was anemic and Anthony Browns int kept Dallas in the game to a point. Otherwise that game wasn't close.

Of course we are better with Dak( a 4th rounder) then we are with Rush (a walk on) just like the 1st round QBs playing in the league are much better then Dak.

The problem is people try to make Rush better then he is just like people try and make Dak better then he is. Dak is a fine 4th round pick QB.

This is a great point, except for the fact that you're completely wrong.

Brown didn't "disappear" with Dak. Brown's usage went down when Gallup returned.

He caught 4 passes with Dak in game one (and one from Rush). Then he caught 5 in each of the next two games with Rush.
Then Gallup returned, and he caught 3, 1, and 1 in Rush's last three games.
Then Dak returned, and he caught 5 in Dak's first game back. He's been up and down since then, but he caught 4 just last week.

With Dak, he's catching 2.5 passes per game. With Rush, he was catching 3 passes per game. His catch percentage is higher since Dak returned, and his yards per catch is basically the same.

The difference is Gallup.

We are a better team with Dak. That is obvious. Where we run into trouble is when he tries to do too much. Just manage the game. The D will do their job, the running backs will do theirs and Dak just needs to relax and do his. We don't need a QB who can carry the bus on his back, just steer it straight and not off a bridge.

I wouldn’t assume that draft position is all that relevant for someone in their second contract. Now measure him against his cap charge. He’s been relatively cheap thus far but hits 50m next year.

The winning percentage is similar but I can’t imagine anyone still thinking this team has more potential heading into the playoffs with Rush over Prescott.

You know what's crazy is Dak will pound the weak teams better than most QBs but just like in those terrible losses last year Dak lacking that pedigree shows. Those teams become gauntlets to him. He can't make those quick decisions and throw accurately with consistency
Lacks the ability to throw those quick short timing routes. Dak is a good front runner when they get a lead but doesn't handle pressure well. I think when we face the Eagles Hurts is very much like Dak but has more pedigree and he will make enough plays to lead his team to victory unlike Dak.
