Are we rooting for D-Ware?

It's worth it if it provides a role that helps the team and Ware's role contributed to the Broncos making the playoffs this season and having a chance to reach the Super Bowl. Why such dislike for Ware?

Plain and simple. I don't hate Ware but he's not a Cowboy so he gives me no cause to root for him. I hate the Stealers so I hope Denver beats them but after that I don't care how far they go.

I am not big on rooting for ex-Cowboys. Once they are gone, they are gone.

But I chuckle at fans who decide that since they are no longer around they are horrible, but when they were around, how dare you question them.

It is fascinating to witness at times, but then the sheer pathetic brainless nature of it really spoils the charm.

I don't particularly root for them but I don't down them unless they are classless when they leave.

I never got that, only "don't play in our division" which I can understand not liking that....
Unless you're a Giants fan pretending to be a Cowboy fan

With some fans it's what have you done for us lately. Even Troy Aikman got booed by Cowboy fans nearing the end of his career. Those 3 Super Bowl wins spoiled us. It was tough for some to except these players were declining.

Yea I remember that. I could never boo him. He gave all he had to this franchise and brought me so much joy in the early 90's.

From some of your comments you sure sound like you hate him. I don't necessarily pull for our former players but I don't piss on them either because they no longer play for the Cowboys.

Ware is a good dude but he's not a Cowboy so screw him. Beat the stealers and then piss off broncos. lol

Are you kidding?

Have you listened to his negative comments towards the Cowboys since he has been an announcer?

You tolerate that kind of impartiality? What is wrong with you?

One, Buck sucks and brings down the whole crew IMO
Two, I do detect jealousy between him and Romo
Three, he tries to hard to be impartial and goes the opposite(best part is, I'm sure opposing fans think he's a homer)....but it most only be negative comments

They booed Troy in favor of Randall Cunningham that's how stupid this fan base can be.

I never understood the jealousy part. If I was him I'd feel sorry for Romo.

No, I will not root for Ware. How many games did he take over and win for us? I can think of the New Orleans game after his neck injury. He jumped off sides too much and it costed us a game in San Diego. His sacks were mostly inconsequential. Far too often he was on the sidelines when he was supposed to be injured but was joking with his teammates with a big grin on his face. He was never a leader and contributed to our soft teams collapsing in December. Good riddance.

For all of the crowd that thinks that the NFL wants Pitts to win as some type of conspiracy need to settle down.

The top 3 shows in all of TV this year were Boys\Panthers, GB/Dallas, and Seattle/Us.

If the NFL could use bias, etc to get anybody to the SB it would be us with those ratings!!

Apparently they weren't watching our offense the games prior...

He reached the point that he wasn't cut out to be a HC after the Cowboys quit on him vs the Packers in 2010 and he was fired. He was offered an interview by Tampa for their HC opening prior to Lovie Smith's hiring but he turned it down.

I think after Houston, in Denver, he realized it.. He was interim HC and he put his name in as a candidate after the year was finished.

On his year off, he also mentioned Garrett's HC record versus his..

When you don't play up to the level of your contract and get cut, it's not the person doing the cutting's fault. Screw Ware.

The majority of his career, he played up to that level. He kept getting injured but played through injuries and still had double digit sacks. His last year was a terrible year. He has shown that he can still play and is a class act. Wish nothing but the best for him.

Do you think I'm talking about the majority of his career? I'm not so you are arguing with yourself by bringing it up. I'm specifically talking about 2013. You admit he was terrible that year... a contract year. Jerry didn't know what he was going to get from him after that and he wanted big money. It was a business decision to let him go. That was 2 seasons ago and he's not been the same Ware since 2012. He did have a good season in 2014 but considering the money that Denver paid for him, his decline in 2015 indicates he will end up once again not living up to his contract... which is exactly why Jerry didn't resign him. If you love the dude then that's cool for you but I don't have do share your enthusiasm, do I?

Why would Aikman be jealous of Romo?
