Are we screwed or can we turn it around?

Obviously, no one really knows. Wade has some coaching and counseling to do. And all the while fatazz Tuna will be calling to interview Garrett, Sparano, Ireland, etc............Looks bleak but you just never know. As another thread suggested, this loss might have humiliated us back to reality again.....guess we'll see.

This game was bad. We didn't come to play. This type of attitude has plagued this team for years.

I thought I was having flashbacks to the 5-11 teams ... though, those teams were able to beat the Skins. :bang2:

These last 4 weeks are definite cause for concern. No matter how level headed you try to be, we have been going in a bad direction, thank Jesus we played good long enough to get a bye.

People need to chill out a bit. As much as it hurts to watch our team play like this. Let's take it with a grain of salt. We had our pro bowl center not playing, our pro bowl / game changing wide receiver not playing and our shutdown corner not playing. Even though Proctor has looked good in pass protection, Gurode is that much better in the run game. And Owens and Newman are game changers on there side of the ball. How would the Pats look without Moss and Asante Samuel out there? How do the Colts look without Harrison and Bob Sanders? As long as T.O gets back and if we are healthy, we will be ready to make our run!

The concern being this type of play started before Gurode and Newman were out.

This wasn't even a matter of players. We have been pretty basic coaching wise, and commentators confuse this with 'figuring us out'.

I don't think Wade is showing much, sinnce we clinched the play-offs and did enough to secure home-field. Lats week against Carolina, we were pretty basic as well, and when we needed a stop in the red-zone, Wade simply called some blitzes that resulted in fourth downs.

There are just so many funny replies I would love to use...but I can't. :banghead: :bang2: :D

But what about Romo? We had Gurode and Owens against the Eagles.

uh...my guess would be screwed.

The December pattern continues...we could easily have been 0-4 this month. People who think that the play the last month will be good enough to win anything in the playoffs are delusional. I'm really not expecting a NFC championship game here in Dallas.

Which teams are playing better than us? I'd say anyone except Tampa Bay.

See...now everything I was thinking was over the line, but you did a nice job there.

You're exaggerating things.

That was the one bad game Romo had in this 4 week stretch.

Romo was good to very good versus Detroit and Carolina.

Detroit, Philadephia, the first half of the Carolina game.........really, am I exaggerating?

And everyone seems to forget that we were on our way to thrashing the Panthers until Owens went out. We were on our way to 450 yards of offense and 30+ points. Each game is different of course.

Seattle dropped 2 out of 3. Green Bay was humiliated last week on the road and they were playing everybody. Washington and the Giants have played well the last two weeks, because, well they HAD to.

This offense was struggling in Carolina.

Yes, because today we didn't even have our hearts in it. We were competitive those three weeks, at least. and we won two out of three there.
