Are we screwed or can we turn it around?

But what about Romo? We had Gurode and Owens against the Eagles.

3rd and 4th wide receivers are not going to get open much. Especially with no run game. With a run game, play action gets receivers open. But without T.O you play 8 men in the box, double Witten and play straight up against 3rd and 4th wideouts. It's no secret. T.O is the MVP and makes all the difference for this offense.

I think there is cause for concern, and certainly no reason to be optimistic.

But if we get healthy, and come out with an attitude, .. the attitude that we have something else to prove, then we will be o.k.

We seem to have lost that attitude since we put on the NFC East Champ hats and t-shirts.

Wade has his work cut out for him.

This offense was struggling in Carolina.

Struggling? Not one bit before Owens went down. We had 200+ yards already before Owens went out. This is a total different offense without T.O.

Yes, because today we didn't even have our hearts in it. We were competitive those three weeks, at least. and we won two out of three there.

That's horrible, yes we were missing a few guys but you think those players filling in did not want to make an impression and with 3 records on the line for our offense you think they did not want to accomplish those goals?

Not having heart only makes the matter that much worse because it's bad enough to struggle but to struggle and not want to play is just asking for a early exit because if you lose heart it's not something your going to find during an off week.

You take away any team's number 1 WR and they are going to struggle.

Anyone think that the Commanders have much of a passing offense without Moss?

Or NE is that much of a threat without their Moss?

The examples are numerous.

When Owens went out. You conveniently forget that.

Moving the ball up and down the field does not put points on the board. It's not like were were lighting up the scoreboard.

WV, this is no different than 1996 when we had Lackluster wins over the Pats and Cardinals (12-6 and 10-6) The next week we rest our starters and get blown out by the Skins 37-10. The next week we blew out the Vikings.

Plus we get HFA and a bye. A couple weeks of rest will do us fine.

Now we're resorting to making things up.

We were up 14-0 early in the second. What the hell more do you want?

Maybe a meaningful game will motivate this team?

I sure in the hell hope so because not even the possibility of clinching home field was enough a few weeks ago.

We can hopefully turn it around but like so many say...it's truly important to head into the playoffs on a roll.....label me mildly concerned...

Come on now. This game did not mean anything, no need to panic yet. We still have time tom get the injured healthy and game plan for who ever comes or way next. Playoff time starts after this game. Although it would have been nice to see the Cowboys back ups play better. I thought Austin had better hands than that. Hurd played like I fugured he would wich was better than Austin, I wonder what happened to Stanback? Reeves stunk it up today but has played better. Ball I would love to see play more...during preseason next year that is.

You want a turnaround?...It starts with Romo.

1 td vs 5 picks in the last three games.

He is the engine to our offense ,and it needs a tune up.:bang2:

uh...my guess would be screwed.

The December pattern continues...we could easily have been 0-4 this month. People who think that the play the last month will be good enough to win anything in the playoffs are delusional. I'm really not expecting a NFC championship game here in Dallas.

Which teams are playing better than us? I'd say anyone except Tampa Bay.
and we could easily have gone 4-0. Who praytell is playing so much better than us. A Seattle team who gave up 44 today to Atlanta and lost to the same team we beat in week 15? Who is playing so much better? The Skins are playing out of their mind right now but no Cowboy fan should be scared of them.

Obviously, no one really knows. Wade has some coaching and counseling to do. And all the while fatazz Tuna will be calling to interview Garrett, Sparano, Ireland, etc............Looks bleak but you just never know. As another thread suggested, this loss might have humiliated us back to reality again.....guess we'll see.

This team is screwed with the laid-back Phillips.

Mr. We'll Fix It Next Time.

This is a team that has lost direction and Wade is just as confused as an old man can get.

Jerra, please, get us a better coach next time and don't just settle.
