this is the same guy in the last 3 years that signed T-Old,Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones.

Isn't he the same one who cut them too?

nope. that's why zrinky the coward never has one unless a bunch of people have already posted there's. than he can join in on the popular opinion.

I actually wanted them to sign Tank ..... and always express my opinion.

I am just not a hypocrite about it later ...... roywilliams31

:laugh2:

I loved having T.O on this team personally. But now I look at it and thank the football God's he's gone.

Jerry paid him to come and leave but boy is that guys career up in the air after exiting Jerry's World.

He was able to re-invent himself more than Madonna in football terms but not after Jerry's World. Uh uh, he's never going to be the same after Jerry broke his heart. Jimmy never was either.

what is hypocritical about it? me being a 23 year old fan buying into the hype or players or Jerry being a 67 year old fan/wannabe GM who also buys into the hype of players. hhmmm a fan or a guy who's been involved with the sport for longer than i've been alive who makes these decisions..... the same guy who was making these decisions during the worst decade in this franchises history.

maybe you do express your opinion. if only there was someone who was as big of a loser as you who would go search your post history.

Sometimes I forget how young some of our members are.

Sorry you got stung on that post history response.

You're a Cowboy fan so you're ok in my book.

It just gets a little frustrating with all the Jerry hate and knee jerk reactions on this site.

How are Jones and Tank bad moves? We gave these guys modest, no risk deals and spent very little as far as draft resources.

So they didn't work out, big deal. I'm just happy to have an Owner/GM willing to take some calculated risk to make the Cowboys the best they can be.

Last 3 years? I am not sure how you can justify that comment.

2009...did not sign any of these guys
2008...signed Pacman
2007...signed Tank Johnson

TO was signed in 2006.

After 2008 he let all 3 go despite decent production in some areas. Last year he signed Sensabaugh, Brooking, and Olshansky. All three were outstanding.

I think you hold on to stuff that pisses you off too hard and close blind eyes to anything else. Either way, the 3 years comment is off.

oh i'm sorry not 3 years it was 4 years:laugh2: than his son along with coaches had to tell him to get rid of these guys.

to SonnyBoy, Tank was a bad move cause he was garbage and was a lockerroom cancer just like T-Old and Pacman. also Pacman was a moron and should've been cut after a few games. I was outside the team hotel in 2008 before the skins game(4th game of the season) and saw Pacman leave the hotel at midnight. not to mention he got suspended again

Let's look at what Pacman cost in real terms.

We got him for a 4th round pick in 2008. Then we got back a 5th round in 2009 because he got suspended.

Jerry was gambling on these moves, but he didn't sell the team down the river.

So. That's usually the job of the coaches. GM says who comes and the coaches say who leaves.

It's just this stance that everything good that happens for the Cowboys is luck or someone else's idea that gets a little tiresome.

This team was one of the worst in football for 3-5 years and didn't win a play-off game in over a decade...............That's Jerry's fault.

This team is one of 3 in the entire league with 5 straight winning season. It's also one of the best and most talent right now............That's Jerry's fault.

But that's not the real cost for some of our fans. The move gave media types anti-Cowboy material.
I really believe too many of our fans care more about what's said about the team than how good it is.

well that's not me. I wouldn't care if we had a bunch of gun toting, cocaine sniffing party animals as long as we win the Superbowl.

Bull .... you are just crawdadding because you held the same opinions of those players that Jerry did.

He made exactly the moves you wanted him to make at the time ...... yet you criticize him about it years later.

He had the guts to admit his mistakes, fix them, and replace them on the team.

I know this is true, but not in Rampage's case. He and I disagree on a lot and he hates my guts, but I don't see that in him.

"T-Old" gave us 3 productive years, and tank johnson was a good gamble because he played well in chicago (granted it was next to t. harris). I will give you Pac Man, but he gave little to nothing for both pac man and tank. From a talent to expenditures standpoint....not bad GM'n!!

With that said i dont think he is some great GM.

that's sad considering the info and expierence he has that I don't. remember i'm a 23 year old fan and he's a 67 year old "gm". the offtopic section needs you to look up someones post history to prove them wrong.....
