Are you a one team fan?

its funny, i live near buffalo so 90% or so of the people i know that are fans of 1 team, including cowboys fans, like to follow the bills.

i hate them...

I also like the Ravens. No harm in liking an AFC team. However, when they play each other (2x so far and I have been at both games in Baltimore) I am decked out in Cowboys colors.

Other teams I root for:

Whoever is playing the Redstinks.
Whoever is playing the Gints.
Whoever is playing the Iggles.
Whoever is playing the Winers.

That's about it.

I to am a fan of both Dallas and Carolina, Cowboys first, Panthers second. I was born and raised in Texas, Tyler to be exact. Ive been to countless Cowboy games, playoffs, pratices, I even went to superbowl 27.

My father on the other hand was born and raised in N.C, he was a Cowboys fan until the Panthers came into existence, now he's primarily a Panthers fan. When we lived in Texas we had season tickets, so I stayed a Cowboys fan, and never swayed even through the dire years.

At 37 ive been fortunate to see 3 decades of Cowboys football although I dont remember much of the 70's Cowboys. I do remember some.

I have two favorite teams 1 the Cowboys 2 any team that can help the Cowboys out during a season. Hell I'll pull for the skins if that win will help the Cowboys season out.

I am a Cowboys fan first and foremost. I like to see the Texans win as long as it has no negative impact on the Cowboys. It's because they are a Texas team and I'm a "Way Too Proud of Texas Guy" like in the beer commercial but I don't follow that team closely. My dream would be to have the Texans and the Cowboys play in the Superbowl with the Cowboys winning of course. The only team I follow closely or really care about is the Cowboys.

My number one team is the Cowboys, which I will be a fan of until the day I die.
When Jimmy left the cowboys and coached the Dolphins, I started to watch the 'fins and over time they became my second favorite team in the NFL.

I follow other players but not the team. I will be keeping an eye on the Panthers because of my boy DeAngelo. I wanted Dallas to take him but we had bigger needs.

From 1978-1981 I was a San Diego Chargers fan and from 1974-1983 a Raiders fan as well. First and foremost, I was always a Cowboys fan. I would draw posters of Oakland-Dallas and Chargers-Cowboys superbowl matchups. From 1976 to 1983 there were several opportunities for it to have happened, but it never seemed to work out. There'd always be some stupid -51 degree coldsnap or ridiculous catch and fumble that would ruin things.

But two games, the 1980 reg season game vs San Diego at Dallas and the 1983 reg season MNF game in Irving vs. Oakland scarred me forever. I was torn watching one team I liked score against/beat up the other. I couldn't stand that feeling, and so after that point I could follow those other teams with my head, but my heart wuold only follow the Cowboys. One bittersweet exception of course was the 38-9 shellacking of Washington at the hands of the Raiders in the 1983-1984 Superbowl. For that day, I was a Raider fan all over again!
