Walter Nolen or any OL
Golden is a burner (4.29 40) and an excellent route runner. Would compliment CD better imo.Nobody in their right mind would take Golden over Tet!!!
I’m with you on OL.TE or OL.
Speaking of tackles, how do they get a guy like Evan Neal so wrong? Is this a case of going by traits over actual gameplay? His technique is awful. They have the meat and potatoes down I think, tackles need long arms and good footwork,
I know nothing about him.Speaking of tackles, how do they get a guy like Evan Neal so wrong? Is this a case of going by traits over actual gameplay? His technique is awful.
Means it’s more of a unicorn when a Mason Graham is thereI think there have only been 3 DT’s in the top 10 in the last 10 years. This chart has a qualification of a minimum of 15 players/position but out of 18 total top 10 DT’s, 15 were from 2000-2011.
Not suggesting that DT isn’t important. Just adding some context.
I agree and I also think it reflects changes in the game.Means it’s more of a unicorn when a Mason Graham is there
Their market value for second contract should sky rocket then, no?I agree and I also think it reflects changes in the game.
No doubt the position is growing in priority but it’s difficult to find DT’s who can justify a top 10 in today’s NFL. Can’t be a 1 trick pony and DT’s can be difficult to evaluate.
That would be my worst case scenario. Plus if he falls to 12 it means less options for guys who can help us nowIf Sanders falls as predicted. Does Jerry have enough restraint from picking him at 12?
if Banks is there, I'd take Banks (unless Graham is there but doubt it).12 is too high for a Guard agreed , but elif elite tackle is available? Steele is a liability
Id love Williams . That would really open up the draft for usTet at 12 would be upsetting. I could stomach Golden but I’d rather get Williamson from Detroit and look else where with our first pick
I suppose picking a TE at #12 would be quite annoying.
This is only true if the player picked is an all pro. If the player picked is a QB and not an all pro then someone like Barkley is a better choice.![]()
I would flip my shift if my team turned the 12th overall pick into a RB or a TE
Almost all running backs are cooked, or heading down, by the time they're ready for a 2nd contract.Jeanty will be twice as productive as Robinson. Drafting Zeke was not the problem. Giving him a second deal was the problem!

You also added a PB QB, that can’t be over looked. If you could do the 2016 draft over again with everything you know now, would you still have taken Zeke over the myriad of perennial pro bowl lineman who are still starting today and are only 30?I get it, but this team was much better Zekes rookie year than running with Alf or whoever the year before. Obviously there are a ton of factors and going by an average is probably a better method.
I'd take Jeanty and not look back, in any event.
