But does Eberflus bring enough to the table to where I think it compensates for the FO's absolute bungling of the HC hiring process? No.

But to be fair, I'm not sure anybody would.

Could've been a lot worse. Eberflus has decent defenses, they need to get him so Defensive line help. There's literally no one good if Osa leaves.

Would have been thrilled with him as DC, but no way he'd come here for a DC job when SF was offering a boat load of cash.

Just don’t put him in charge of calling TO’s. He’s worse than FAMM.

Considering the options available? Sure. Eberflus is a solid hire.

I am not expecting greatness, but a legit shot at a top 15 unit? That is reasonable considering where we are at roster-wise

...that's all we need a top #15 unit, or even #10.
