i know less about Robinson as i do the Diggs, Gallimore and Tyler Bad Azzz picks, but i will trust McClay's evaluation of him as a valued pick.
his physical measurements in size and speed to fit the bill, and he had 4 INTs this past year - something our starting CBs would need four years to even come close.

But between his game tapes, scouting profile and trusting that DB coach Al Harris who stresses physical press jam and turnovers can coach him up,
we could have a sleeper gem in Robinson.

I like Robinson a lot, and I voted yes... but I really wanted Amik Robertson, though I fully understand why the team would rather have Robinson.

Willing to go on faith here (yes) because of the other picks. I’m more concerned with this one for where he was taken.

very versatile player.
can play corner or s.
tough.
physical.
excellent hands...can make plays on the ball.
seemed to rise up the draft boards from late round to 4th or 5th rd pick.

Another playmaker in the secondary.
Also, a great ST player.
The clip of a blocked FG was something
I'd like to see him repeat in Dallas.

I was torn between this kid and l'jarius sneed who the chiefs drafted after this pick. This kid has better upside and played against better talent. But the other kid projects better as a FS. i probably go Sneed who can probably win the FS job from x woods. But i cant complain that they addressed the secondary. I still liked the pick

Good CBs are hard to find on day one or two. Hopefully they found the diamond in the rough with Robinson. He had a backup grade so he has a good chance to make the team. Some have said the analysts are wrong about him and I really hope so. I was hoping for Amik Robertson who went to the Raiders but we'll have to wait two or three years to know. James Lynch looked like a player they might have been interested in also. We'll see if Al Harris can get the most out of him.

Yep -- happier, in fact, than a pig in poop! He's an excellent value pick, imo. Very versatile.

I think he is the pick I am most unsure of. He has very good measurables and it is good to see Jeremiah and Bruglar like him. But he is going to be a guy we will need to see live to see if his athletic traits correlate to a good CB.

This youngster looked really good in the 3 Tulsa games I watched. He was great in coverage.
Although, I didn't see the games against Mich St and Okie St, but I heard he was just as solid against them. This is the type of player that only comes to Tulsa every 40 years or so.

Not sure why he chose Tulsa but I heard he had offers from Stanford, Minnesota and Kansa St as well.

My own preference was Bryce Hall but everything I've read says that Robinson is an ascending player who has all the tools.
