For the fans on here who are always saying 12 win seasons mean nothing without playoff wins, the logical question would be, “Can he be any worse than what we’ve seen from every coach since Barry Switzer?”

• Chan Gailey and Bill Parcells were both 0-2 in postseason games
• McCarthy was 1-3 in the postseason during his record three 12 win seasons in a row
• Wade Phillips was 1-2 in the postseason despite having the #1 NFC seed one year
• Jason Garrett is the big winner, going 2-3 over most of a decade.

Yet the coach we love to make fun of, Barry Switzer went 5-2 in his first two seasons as coach.

Maybe the players are more important than the coach.

Folks nothing has changed. This is just a continuation of the stuff Jerry has already done for years. What is different now is the wizard’s curtain has been pulled back for all to see.
