This is not typical Diehard, Jerry at least has tried with HC hires to pretend he was trying to win.

Parcells a legendary coach, Wade one of the best DCs of all time, even Garrett was seen as a top OC kinda like Ben Johnson now, McCarthy with a SB ring, ect.....

But Schotty? There is nothing about him that makes him qualified to be a HC, even Jerry called him a "career assistant".............this is not the same as the coaches I just listed, its different.

That is why you are seeing an almost universal condemnation of this hire by the fan base and even the media.............this was not the case with previous HC hires.

This is the worst HC hire in Cowboys history.

Considering the high profile nature of the organization in general, arguably one of the worst, most baffling HC hires in all of sports.

You have the money. Yet you refuse to spend any of it on obtaining elite personnel?

The world is right to question the FO’s philosophy, motives, culture, goals, and vision.

We are adrift in an ocean of incompetence. And the idiocracy is clapping themselves on the back for a job well done.

1. When Jerry hired Wade Phillips as HC, he didn't feel the need to give him a DC. Wade ran the defense. Will Jerry hire an OC for Brian?

2. Jason Garrett, the OC while Phillips was HC, was instructed to report directly to Jerry. Wade was never involved in the offense except to make critical decisions during games and when conducting practices.

When the defensive coordinator and the offensive coordinator report to the same person, what is usually that person's title?

Who will the Cowboys DC report to next season?

in short, Jerry got desperate.
Yoda will never see an NFC championsip or Cowboys in the Super Bowl in his remaining years.

Thats it, time for Beast to log off and try to pretend this never happened................might be a little bit before Beast logs back on, maybe around draft time.

You want to see how the Cowboys can become irrelevant than they should continue to hire coaches like this. If this was a Stephen hire then we have a look at our future
