I'm not against it. I really think the Cowboys have a bigger talent problem than a coaching problem right now. Plus MM has 5 years of experience working with Jerry....give him a new contract and maybe he has a better chance navigating the issues with Jerry and pushing back once hes off the hot seat a bit.

You’re assuming that’s strictly a coaching issue though, specifically a HC issue. To some extent I’m sure it is but how much compared to the talent deficiencies on the roster and environment created by Jerry?

Honestly, it just doesn't matter as long as Jerry is GM. I fought that idea for years, and I've finally given up. Jerry quite simply sabotages everything.

Our coordinators that left and went to other teams don't seem to be having a bad time of it.
Dan Quinn is going to the playoffs good first season with the commanders.
And I think the hated eagles with Moore as their offensive coordinator also in the playoffs.

Don't care anymore....very close to switching allegiance and cheering for my brothers Chargers...this coming season would be 50 years as a Cowboy fan, so it may be time for a change....blank Jerry!!!!

No, but with Jerry picking the replacement he could easily do much worse than MM

I'm fine with it. When you know that a coach can't come in and make players tough and that the players have to already be that type, you realize coaching can't fix the issue if the team. The issue is we don't sign/draft talented and tough. Just talented

Yeah, look how well Quinn is doing w/ some actual talent at DT. Man, you simply cannot explain to casual fans how much difference pocket collapsing DT's make. Most important position on D, bar none. Jalen Carter starting to look like Aaron Donald part deux.
