I'm curious to get a read on how many fans still have faith that Jason Garrett is the right man for the job or how many fans are ready to move on?

Just your own opinion on what you would like to see happen going forward, and not what you expect Jerry Jones to do.

I'm interested to get a read on how opinions and overall confidence stands at this point.

Meh, Id rather have Sean Peyton. Garrett has had his chance. I appreciate what he does well but what hes bad at is glaring. Ive been patient long enough. If we cant have back to back winning seasons with this roster its time to let him go.

Never have been...and certainly not now. Once I realized he was not an 'X' and 'O' guy...I looked for his ability to channel the energy of talented yet difficult players into winners. He can't do that either. So he needs 53 talented choir boys....and then he will produce. Problem is...you will not find that in this sport....so he offers you no decided advantage on Sundays. Don't know how much of the rest of the NFL you watch...but I saw Kase Kenum go into Washington yesterday and lay 38 points on the Commanders....and when Romo went down...we could not even get 1st downs with Weeden and Matt Casell. I see Sean McVay take a team of players no one wanted on offense...and they are running up and down the field on everybody. With Jason...what you see is what you get...and the NFL has 10 years of data on him...unless we are just flat out better than the many in front of us...we cannot win.

Yes and no.

I like some of the things Garrett does. I also dislike some of the things he does.

I’m 50/50. Of course I support the team so I’ll support the coach too. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think we could have better.

I think supporting the team can often run counter to supporting a coach. If the two things aren't going in the same direction, they shouldn't be together.

First and foremost, I support the team. Faces can, do, and quite frankly should change.

Same, but I'm higher than 50/50. Fans only see a fraction of what goes into being a HC and its just like the QB position. Too much credit when things go right and too much blame when things go wrong.

At the end of the day, posters have to admit the team has improved dramatically since Garrett became HC. A lot of that is because of guys like Will McClay, but its still a fact.

Hostile promised us the next Landry. :muttley:

Of course not. He's terrible.

I'm consistent too. I've said this during our good seasons that he offers nothing on Sunday.

At best he gets the job done Mon-Saturday but Sundays he never has and never will offer anything.

I'm with you.

They've removed him from virtually all on-field stuff and he's failed up the ladder.

He's gotten "his guys" at all of the coordinator positions and the results still disappoint.

Virtually every player outside of Witten has been changed out, and the results still disappoint.

At this point, there's only one change that can be made to change the results.

I have said for years that the guy brings nothing to the table on gameday. I think that he is sound from a philosophy and atmosphere standpoint but Xs and 0s as well as game management...terrible.

I would be all for changing to someone like a Jon Gruden.

If and when we get to the playoffs, be it this year or beyond, we'll generally be playing the best teams with best coaches. Coaches that will adjust on the fly, which Garrett simply isn't able to counter effectively or efficiently. His whole philosophy is 'be your best, beat your man', which would be fine if you had an all star team. But in a capped league you'll never get that, so we'll always have weaknesses he won't be able to cover with that philosophy (linebackers after Lee for one), not to mention injuries.

If Garrett coached New England with Brady all these years, I don't think he wins a single Super Bowl. He doesn't give his team any extra help, all his prep is done mid week, and that's all.

We will never win a super bowl with Garrett unless all players play to 100% of their abilities, the opposition doesn't have weapons to counter our weaknesses and no injuries, which will just never happen. He's won a playoff game on the back of Romo playing the best he's ever played, but you can't win 4 games in a row in the playoffs that way.

Well I like him as a cheerleader so.......
We have better and more qualified cheerleaders and he certainly couldn't make that team.
