Are you witnessing the swagger being displayed by the Niners today?

No RKG nonsense on that team. They are yapping, they are playing after the whistle, they are jawing after big plays, and now Kaep just mocked Cam's celebration. They are straight up bullying the Panthers just like the Seahawks did yesterday. They remind me what the Cowboys used to be in the 90s. Cowboys not only need talent, they severely need an attitude adjustment. A guy like Dez would fit in perfectly with these teams, yet for some reason he gets criticized for showing emotion here...what's up with that? Am I the only one who notices a big difference in on the field demeanor btw the Niners/Seahawks and our Boys? I hate the country club Garrett has created here.

Same thing I saw yesterday with the Seahawks, right now we dont compare at all. Their defense is just mind boggling compared to ours

I wouldn't criticize our team for a lack of swagger. If I were to offer an attitude based criticism, which I generally frown upon, I would harp on the fatalism that seems to permeate some of their rhetoric.

just so everyone understands, courtesy of Urban Dictionary…...

Swagger:
How one presents him or her self to the world. Swagger is shown from how the person handles a situation. It can also be shown in the person's walk.

okay… back to the discussion….

You can have swagger without yapping and running your mouth after every play or every catch.
it's post like this that makes me wonder if the country club culture has seeped into our fanbase too.

give me boldin's antics in this game all day everyday over miles austin day dreaming in the middle of games. the niners are feeding off of boldin's emotion.

You mean like self-fulfilling prophetic rhetoric?

Peyton Manning, Bob Lilly, Randy White, Barry Sanders, Marvin Harrison, Darrell Green, Bob Hayes, Andre Johnson, and on and on and on and on…

All play/played, and kicked ***, without the need for any "extracurricular" activity. They are/were all tough guys when they needed to be.

Not saying we don't need a more swagger, but just like the fallacy that running = wins, talking doesn't equal wins either.

Buddy Ryan's Eagles talked more smack than any team ever, and they did squat, while conversely, Landry's Cowboys and Elway's Broncos were mostly choir boys and won it all.

It's still all about execution.

I could care less if we have a team of all convicts or all choir boys, I just want to win again.

Funny how you question the rest of our fan base when you're the one gushing over another team.

Having swagger has nothing to do with yapping after every play and otherwise acting like a jackass.

Niners have built a solid team through the draft. We draft injury prone guys who will never contribute and make other stupid draft picks.

They are good. We are not. It's nothing about the culture here. We just aren't that good.

the choir boy thing has failed us for many years. nobody is listening to demarcus ware's pre-game speech when he sounds like michael jackson in 1987. stop drafting mcsurdys over burficts. stop drafting players because they are good citizens. stop leaving warfords and jordan reeds off your freaking draft board. garrett is sapping the soul out of this franchise.
