Are you witnessing the swagger being displayed by the Niners today?

the choir boy thing has failed us for many years. nobody is listening to demarcus ware's pre-game speech when he sounds like michael jackson in 1987. stop drafting mcsurdys over burficts. stop drafting players because they are good citizens. stop leaving warfords and jordan reeds off your freaking draft board. garrett is sapping the soul out of this franchise.

Racist.

You just said you want our players to stop being white like Michael Jackson and Caleb mcsurdy.

Did you even read my post, or were you so fired up about responding that you just glossed over it?

There are thousands of guys in the league's history who kicked *** and rarely said a word.

Did you see Carolina's - and former Cowboy - Thomas, #22? He brought plenty of swagger (and stupidity) and iced the game with his ridiculousness.

It will always be about execution. All the yapping and chippiness is just fluff.

it's post like this that makes me wonder if the country club culture has seeped into our fanbase too.

give me boldin's antics in this game all day everyday over miles austin day dreaming in the middle of games. the niners are feeding off of boldin's emotion.

Or give me a player who does his TALKING with his ABILITY and not his MOUTH, someone like a Calvin Johnson. You don't have to run your darn mouth, it's just a punk thing to do, it has nothing to do with "swagger". Give me Calvin Johnson over Anquan Boldin any day of the week, SMH.

There is a mindset here that teams cannot expect to be at the top consistently and expectations should be lowered for the Cowboys because none of the teams that were hot in the early 90's are hot now. This is the cyclical nature of the game.

I suggest this is a losers mentality to assuage the pain of realization the people running the Cowboys are inept and mismanaging the team and have been for over seventeen years.

The Niners are a team that fits the early 90's description and they are headed to the NFC championship game for the third straight time.

That contradicts the loser mentality of accepting mediocrity.

Thanks Jerry.

So you have to act like a baby to have swagger and win now? Give me a break. If our players acted like Boldin and got flagged for it, you'd be killing them for being stupid/selfish.

Cowboys not only need talent, they severely need an attitude adjustment.

i get it, it's not just about attitude. the team needs better talent. but what is it about what i said that makes folks like yourself uncomfortable? why is this franchise so intent on doing things the choir boy way. i'm not saying this team needs thugs, they need more dez bryants. poor guy is one of the few dawgs in this locker room so he gets a spotlight put on him anytime he shows emotion. if he was on san fran, him and his personality would fit in perfectly.

Antonio Bryant, T.O., Tank Johnson, Pacman, etc. all had what most consider swagger. How did that work out for us?

They don't need talkers, jerks or *******s. They need LEADERS.

They haven't had a leader of men since Darren Woodson walked out the door.

He doesn't get the spotlight put on him because he shows emotion. He gets the spotlight put on him because he shows emotion and plays for the Dallas Cowboys. If he played for the Browns no one would give a damn either. The national media, as well as the local media in Dallas love to create drama around this team.

I never once heard Jason Garrett or anyone else on the team criticize Dez for his level of passion.

It's all just show boating. LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT WHAT I CAN DO! It's the mentality in college & pros now. It use to be the exception. Now it's what most of them do. They have those commercials & shoe contracts to secure after all.

No RKG nonsense on that team. They are yapping, they are playing after the whistle, they are jawing after big plays, and now Kaep just mocked Cam's celebration. They are straight up bullying the Panthers just like the Seahawks did yesterday. They remind me what the Cowboys used to be in the 90s. Cowboys not only need talent, they severely need an attitude adjustment. A guy like Dez would fit in perfectly with these teams, yet for some reason he gets criticized for showing emotion here...what's up with that? Am I the only one who notices a big difference in on the field demeanor btw the Niners/Seahawks and our Boys? I hate the country club Garrett has created here.

While I agree I like the swag, the move by Kap in the end zone mocking Cam was crap. He's just immature and thought is was a crap move. You're the leader. Grow up. Leave that swag to your teammates!

Gavin Escobar did the same thing to mock the Eagles TE celebration. So by definition we have swagger.

Now as for some D-line talent.......

That's the problem I have. Escobar is a role player and a rookie. Kap is the QB and should be the leader of the team.
