Are you wondering if Jerry will give up the GM role?

I do not see signs of dementia in him. Jerry has rambled nonsensically for 30 years and I don't see it being much worse now than it always has been. Is he more forgetful? Sure, but that comes with age with or without dementia.

I see signs of narcissism. When narcissists are told how wrong they are, they double down and dig in to show you how much smarter and better they are than everyone else. And just like dementia...that gets worse with age. Jerry would rather die than step down from that role, because he hasn't proven everyone wrong yet.
Very accurate. Let’s see him try to talk his way through the next few awful seasons that are coming. They aren’t equipped to turn it around. Guy pushing his 90s is going to turn himself into the laughingstock of the league. Fully deserved.

I see him getting a lot more defensive and argumentative. He doesn't like being attacked and he is lashing out.

He won't even admit he was wrong about the curtains. No way in hell does he ever give up the GM job.
I know it's Jerry so it's constantly about placating his ridiculous and comletely unwarranted ego BUT he doesn't have to admit he was "wrong."

He could just say that they were hopeful the sunlight would create an open-air stadium atmosphere, but our players have pointed out it can create a disadvantage for them. He can even spin it as "even though both teams would be effected by it, we never want our own players to be at any disadvantage in their own stadium."

Then he would at least sound like someone with an ounce of football sense, even if only for a few moments.

Jerry Jones, Football Stupid.

On my way home from work Thursday night I was listening to 105.3 The Fan and the hosts (I assume they weren't the ones Jerry threatened to fire) mentioned that Jerry was recently asked if he plans to remain the GM until the day he dies. Not surprisingly, he said that is exactly what he is going to do.

These hypotheticals and questions concerning whether or not we will forgive Jerry should he decide to step down are good for conversation, but the reality is they are a waste of time. Jerry will have to croak before any changes to the front office occur. Now, Jerry is 82 and that time might come at any moment, but the thought that he might hang on another 10 or 15 years isn't exactly good news for anyone clamoring for change.

Maybe we will get lucky and Jerry goes full blown Al Davis crazy before he kicks it. We're already laughing at the franchise along with the rest of the planet, maybe that could provide us a little more entertainment before the end comes.
Why?!!!! Why should he?

You do realize, most people try to limit the perception of how obtuse they want people to think of them!
I have no idea what you were referring to about Mila Kunis supporting a rapist so I took a guess.

Yeah, I'm well aware.

Danny Masterson (curly hair/glasses 70s show) was convicted of rape. Her a Kutchner both sent letters to the judge and did interviews in support and advocating for a lesser sentence. They got smashed by public opinion and have kept their heads down since!

He’s already full blown Al Davis crazy. The only difference between late stage crazy Al Davis and Jerry is a track suit.

And how does that affect Dallas Cowboy ticket prices?

I didn't think that anybody that has been following the Cowboys believed Jerry was going to step down. It's the one topic that Jerry has been absolutely consistent about.

I don't think Jerry has considered an "heir" to the Cowboys ownership because I don't think Jerry has considered mortality. Judging from his management of the team, he's not big on planning for the future.

Most fans are probably praying Jerry will give up his GM role.

No, not at all. He's an egostical maniac that has already stated very clearly that nobody on God's green earth can do the job running the Dallas Cowboys like he does.

I take that to mean nobody could suck at it as much as he does but then, that's just me.

He just had one bad year in 2024, had 3 seasons of being 12-5, plus he has Superbowls that happened 30 years ago, that's merely enough to keep the old fart happy and jolly for another 12 years as GM
