Wrong the chefs went 8-0 to start last year and how well did that work out for them in the playoffs? Your eyes should be able to tell you that they are nowhere near as good as their 7-1 record. They should praise the name of Brandon Weeden who kept them in that game

Kept them in the game? C'mon fam. We controlled the line of scrimmage and moved the the ball on offense all day. Ellington was murderous. Once Carson shook off the INT, he played poised and made some nice plays. This was a team win today, and I'm proud of my boys. Not gonna let you whiz in my Cheerios. That being said, I still hope you guys win the East. Got no dislike against the Boys.

That will be decided in the weeks ahead. But I'm not going to minimize their win today or what they have done this year. You don't go to 7-1 in this league with smoke and mirrors.

What did you want them to do blow us out?? Blow everyone out? They're the best until someone else can prove otherwise. Our "Great Wall of Dallas" was met with same intensity now two weeks in a row.

The Cardinals can ball and if not for that Palmer pick 6, it was a blowout.

I don't know that. We controlled the line of scrimmage today. That wins games...PERIOD! I love Tony Romo. Think he's a great qb, but once we established that you were not going to run the ball down our throats, we had as good a chance as anybody. Romo throwing more that he has to = L. I've watched enough Cowboys football to know that. I hope we meet in the playoffs too fam. I'll be right back here win or lose. Good game today peoples!

You can say the Cardinals somewhat stopped our run game, but the thing is... when Romo is in the game making plays, it opens up our run game. When Romo's out there defenses have to respect him which creates more running lanes for Murray, which keeps our defense off the field. Once the Cards found out that Romo was out I'm sure their number one priority was to stop our run game and make Weeden beat them. QB is by far the most important position in football. When you go from a pro-bowl caliber QB to a below average backup who's 5-16 as a starter with a 25 to 28 TD to INT ratio, it completely changes the dynamic of the game.

I mean it is what it is, injuries are part of the game. But I wouldn't get too excited about beating a Tony Romo-less Cowboys team.

i don't know if zona is over-rated, the media is not too high on them in my limited experience observing the BSPN networks; however, they are definitely not head and shoulders above the rest of the league and I would gladly take our chances against arizona with a healthy qb and line. They looked far from dominant today despite our ineptitude. That being said I will acknowledge Carson Palmer did miss a couple of passes that if he hits blows the game wide open...so did Weeden tho.....hahahah never mind couldnt keep a straightface.

I can try to rationalize any number of ways as to how Dallas lost this one, including playing the Weeden card. What I cannot do is misconstrue today's events by deeming the opponent overrated. Arizona has won 17 of their past 24 games. That is a good team over there.

Arizona is a very good team. Even without Romo, I doubt most teams could slow down our run game. That being said...I want us to get another shot at them (San Fran too). They are not a team I fear.

Talking about giving gifts like Murray and Romo have done...if Dez and Williams don't pitch in and buy Weeden a one way ticket to Monkey Run, Virginia then all is lost with the gift giving! lol

I'm not going to sit here and say they are the best team in the NFC just because of their record and Aikman and Buck say so.

We've played better teams this year and with a healthy Romo we run that team off the field today.

Dallas at 6-1 was WAY overrated

A win on the road against a solid Cowboys team IS something to get excited about. Offensively we moved the rock very well today. We have been winning as a team all year and today was nothing different. To say not to get excited is to minimize what you guys have been able to accomplish all year. I still a great respect for the Boys, and will take this win for what it is. We didn't play perfect today either and still won. We keep getting crapped on, yet still continue to win. I'll take that every day all day.

Having Weeden as our backup is not an excuse.

They won games with their backup QB. This is true. Want to know what else is true? The Arizona backup QB is far better than Weeden.

Weeden doesn't have a progression and stares down receivers.
bBut we
You simply cannot cBome to the conclusion that Arizona is a better teaBm than we are based on the fact that we were not playing with our TOP 5 QUARTERBACK.

If Romo was playing in this game, and we lose= Arizona is a better team.

Your logic also means that San Fran and Commanders are superior to us. Which is not true.

If number 1 seeded team in week 16 is resting their starting QB and loses, it must mean that they are a clearly inferior team to the team they lost, right? Give me a break.

You sound like a baseball fan.

Just so I have this straight: we lose to a bad Commanders team and their 3rd string QB. They then turn around and lose to a pathetic Vikings team, with RGIII back.

Meanwhile, the Cards only loss is to Denver, who by the way, is pretty good. but we are better than them.

Gotcha.

Your logic is unassailable

Ok you say overrated. And that's your opinion.

But who in the NFC impresses you? Every team has flaws and have laid out clunkers. Arizona got blown out by Denver about a month ago. So of course they aren't flawless. But they are stout up the middle and their defense is pretty good overall. Solid set of WRs. Palmer isn't a world beater but he can do enough. They just find a way to win.

They are a dangerous team at home.

I really liked Carson when he got into NFL. Thought he would be next Aikman. Today he was. So far this year he is.

I did think we could whack him today though. Oh well.

Nah... Unstoppable running game. If you can force it down any teams throat week to week you deserve the hype.

I'm usually the first one to bash this team but if you can run the football like that at any level then you will be elite.

If Arizona is overrated, the the Cowboys are were overrated too. People kept hyping up how well there defense was playing, yet they were an average defense. It just looked so much better compared to last year.

As for the offensive line. Well, they were doing well till it seems their weakness was figured out. They can't stop the blitz for shiznit. :D
