With regard to Irvin, I have never heard him blame the Cowboys or the Police. Last I checked he takes full responsibility. I see a difference.

As far as you holding yourself to those standards, ask someone else around do you live up to that standard day in day out, because experience has taught me we tend to grade ourselves on a curve.

I've no fear of how those around me would judge me. None at all. I don't stab people in the back. In the past even those who considered me an enemy knew that when the chips were down I could be counted on. If anything I grade myself rather harshly. I just know that I would not cross the line that you so cavalierly drew in the sand. You expect people to fail. I, on the other hand, expect them to be trustworthy. If they aren't it will never be because I set them up to fail.

Irvin's friend also came forward to take the blame, so he actually told the truth.
