Game over is on suicide watch
They've lowered the bar for this guy.
He's one garbage time TD catch and an overtime catch gone from putting up pretty pedestrian numbers in his last eight quarters of football.
I'm glad we have Dez too, but I'd still like to see more creativity in using him. I'd also like to see us spread the ball around a lot more.
Both these things would make things a lot more difficult for defenses to deal with.

Yikes. This is embarrassing.
It was in a Sports Illustrated MMQB article by Andy Benoit... I would assume that it is true for it to be published by them (although you never know for sure without looking it up).

Who Dez or Calvin?
Who Dez or Calvin?
So true. He's also about 20 touchdowns and approximately 2000 yards "gone" from putting up pretty pedestrian numbers over the past 2 years. Dude's simply gotta stop threatening to underperform by having his accomplishments hypothesized away by message board posters.

How is that? Not a hater. Just won't put him in top 5 until he starts to dominate the game the way Nelson and Jones do.
When he starts to have consistent 8 catch, 130+ caliber games, I won't say a negative word.
The fact is, w/o the garbage time TD vs. saints and through 4qtrs. Vs Texans, he probably had less than 100 receiving yards. And that's the best in the business ?
This is the last words I'll have about Dez Bryant.
We are a running offense. Oh btw we can run very well because of the attention Dez draws. He has 4 tds in 5 games. He had an impossible catch that allowed us to win last weekend. And a garbage TD against the Saints? You mean the TD that put the game out of reach after people were getting nervous? Also have you catalogued all the tds from other top wrs and charted when they came?
Also Jordy had 1 catch last week. That's him consistently having 8+ catches a game?
Julio has 21 games over 8 catches. That's him consistently having 8+ catches a game?
Both have one game over 130+ yards. That's them consistently have 130+ caliber games?
Julio has 57 targets this year. Jordy has 52. Dez is last with 47. That gap will grow due to how these teams play.
But please go back to Dez's rookie year. Arguably only 1 wr has been better. Calvin. But Dez eat's Calvin's lunch when it comes to TDs received.
Please stop embarrassing yourself.
When Richard Sherman calls Dez one of the best receivers and talents in the league but some forum whiner says Dez isn't. A supposed Cowboys fan. Well something is wrong with that.
I guess we'll never know how many yards Dez can put up against Carr. I'm sure it would be alot.
I'd say he's the best circus catch wr in the league but over all Top 3.....

He embarrassed himself a long time ago. This thread was about JJ Watt, but he brings in Dez Bryant and says he has TE numbers that game. That's all you need to know.
