yeah he also drafted.........

Jaque Reeves, Nate Jones, Bruce Thornton, and BJ tucker

:bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:

Jacque Reeves made the team as a 7th round pick and even started at CB for a team that went 13-3. And signed a lucrative second contract, which is usually a good indicator of talent.

and it allowed us to take who we needed at the positions we needed .

This was a very deep draft and alot of teams got something out of it and then some..including Miami.

That we had these picks where they turned out to be is very, very lucky..no doubt.

The fact that Scandrick was still there and that Miami didn't take him before we did, means that they just had more needs at other positions they had to address..where as we were only really looking at TE, RB, CB and WR.

That let us get players that were a surprise to be there when it was our turns.

I mean Scrandrick looks good, but so does Choice as a RB and Bennett in the 2nd rd, too. Jenkins and Jones are givens where they were taken. And the most impressive thing I see after it's all over, none of those important top choices was in anyway a stretch or a reach.

That is what worried me. Instead we got better conscencios value at every choice regardless of which pick in the 1st 5 rds.

I really didn't think we'd be able to draft Felix Jones, I thought he'd be gone and then we'd start trading backwards in a domino reaction and things would start getting really dicey quickly with what we'd get.

The fact that Miami was interested in Scandrick doesn't surprise me, our pre-draft and draft day process is a carbon-copy of the Miami one, now.

We'll see this happen again over the next 2-3 years as we draft and Miami does their thing.
