and the famous ND hater shows up=what a surprise.

Lets face the facts: the crowd and atmosphere at Seattle is much more intense then it is in Texas Stadium. It sucks that its true but it is.

100% agreed

i hope jj does well for himself. I thought he was a good back. i don't think the coaches used him to his strengths very much here. He is a back that excels when in space but the boys did very little to get him in that space. Very few lead draws, very few swing passes, very few screens,, and i don't know if the toss sweep was ever run at all.

He is by no means a great back, but if you put him in situations where he can use his talents, he can be very effective and dangerous. He is not a tackle to tackle runner though... at least not with the OL we had.

Too much leakage by our O line and inconsistent FB blocking did not help. When just about every other running play our Backs have to dodge the other sides guys in the Backfield its not what is supposed to happen. barber could handle it, Julius could not. We shall see if Houck can make it better. We are very good pass blocking, but our run blocking sucks all too often.

All this means is that they will boo his *** 10 times louder whenever Julius pulls his trip over his shoelaces crap.

I guess he's trying to endear himself to the Seahawks fans, but the ten times better comment is crap. And if seeing the 12th man flag gives Julius chills and is "intimidating", then that explains why he had trouble running at times while in Dallas. The Hole in the Roof is waaaaaaaay more "chilling" than anything Seattle has to offer.

This must explain Marions nearly 5 yard per carry average. Face the facts Golden Homer, Julius sucks.

New Seahawks' running back Julius Jones (right) can't seem to find any running room as he runs into the back of new guard Mike Wahle as he tries to block linebacker D.D. Lewis.

Wow. Just freakin' wow. :lmao2: And his eyes are closed too.

I have nothing against Julius. I wish him well, but it's hard to argue with his detractors. We'll see what happens in Seattle.

I think Parcells changed Julius.

I think this is his chance to get his career back on track in Seattle. I hope he does well because he does have considerable talent. I just don't think he was put in a good situation here in Dallas with the OL and our style of offense.

If he can regain his confidence, he can be a good RB in this league.

I agree - we didn't do enough to optimize Julius' abilties.

There was also an uncanny tendency for his big plays to be nullified by some nonsense penalty on the OL. Either the penalty was nonsense or it occurred far away from the point of attack. The dude was just snake-bitten for some reaosn.

Hopefully he can regain his confidence and get us a 3rd round pick. I really still think he has alot of ability if used properly.

Just say no, if you cannot read please learn how to. I mentioned in the post about Marion being able to handle that. Now if you want to try and claim there was not a lot of leakage into our backfield on running plays then do so and once and for all remove all doubt about your intelligence.

I also think Parcells affected Julius JOnes...But I think it was that and a combination of Julius JOnes being weak minded that made Him be who He is now...

Maybe so, but part of the job of the coach is to know how to get the best out of your players. Some guys need to be coddled and some need to be kicked in the backside. I think JJ is a sensitive type who needs coddling.

He is SO average.

I'm not saying that I disagree, but watch, if he tears it up this year, people here will be-yotch and complain that we should've resigned him!
