As a well-known Dak hater, I have to admit something I was wrong about

I thought I quoted erod when I posted. So not posting without regard to other posters. TY.
Your post was off topic. We're discussing Dak's doing well, not going after other posters and starting spats.

It’s something they have done multiple times this season. I don’t understand why it’s still a thing.

That situation needs to be a high percentage pass, or just tuck it and run so you keep the clock moving.
It makes zero sense.

I never thought Dak had the ability to beat good teams off the strength of his arm. He has now done it in 3 consecutive home games against playoff teams with absolutely no running game.

One can argue that they all were bad defenses but those teams are coming into the game knowing we have no threat of a run game and he is still feasting in the passing game
I have to agree. I point out when Dak plays bad but I also make an effort to point out when he plays good. Last night he really played well. He made things happen with being short handed on the OL and no running game. That 92 yarder that should have been a safety was all Dak. He avoided the rush, avoided the sure safety and hit a 92 yarder. That’s what we need to see.

I was happy and excited about Dak last night. Let’s keep it moving throughout the playoffs cuz I like talking about his good games way more than talking about his bad games.

I just responded to his post...and it was on topic given another posters response. Note: topic Dak doing well...response qualifying that the only reason Dak was doing well was because the competition was sucky...my response to point out the moving goal post.

Wonder what Khalidi has to say about Daks ability to throw balls against zone these days.

Dak may very well crap the bed in playoffs against d coordinators giving it their all and players giving it their all in a do or die situation...but most QBs have trouble in that environment.

Just curious what the guy has to say these days about Dak.

Is it scheme is better now? Quick 1, 2 read and if nothing is there run? Are the route trees designed better to beat zone in MM system? Why is Dak seeming to be able to play ball now?

Khalidi...please chime in.
Absolutely nothing that he has to say in regards to Dak can be taken seriously . Yes he can pull up a stat or 3 to help his argument but of all Dak haters his bromance with our previous QB still stings

He does not want to give any accolades that I’ve seen because of it

Mountaineer is the biggest troll but Khalidi will never see any positives with our current QB he just isn’t a troll about it

Dak is what he is a top 10 qb who can get it done. Our over rated line makes it hard on him and with crap running game he and my favorite cowboy CeeDee has to get it done

It’s not a recipe for a SB but you never know what happens game in and game out so anything’s possible

I enjoy the ride and I appreciate the thread from Willie B

I agree 100%. I've haven't always been the biggest fan of Dak's game, but I do always support him as the QB of my team. This season he has changed my opinion because he's out there with a shaky Oline and zero running game and still an MVP candidate. It's time for other units on this team to step up.

Add to the fact hes strapped with a moronic head coach.

Good Job, Willie.

What is even better than this thread...and I have seen it mentioned in numerous threads past few days is...it looks like a lot of posters are giving Dak credit for producing with a bad running game and shaky oline.

This will make this board better. It gives the negative crowd less ammo to work with. Dak isnt perfect...but he isnt a guy you let walk. The market is what the market is unfortunately and Dak has the Cowboys over the barrel. Should Dak take less for the team...its debatable...most people in Daks shoes take as much as they can get and rightfully so. Dak's teammates are going to be next to his bed side when he is in hospice one day....so he shouldnt care about taking as much as he can because they would do it too.

Took 8 years...so...progress of a sort. For reference, Burrow, C J Stroud, Josh Allen, Mahomes and other QBs have answered that question and came into the league after Dak.

And if someone says, "That's not fair, those guys are 1st round picks..."...well, they're only making my point.

If anything what this proves is that the haters are actually intellectual honest and NOT hating...while the Dak-stans are cheerleaders that will support Dak no how he performs.

I think you are confused. You are not seeing some sort of religious conversion, Dak IS playing better. In fact, it's you and the delusional crowd who claims "it's been like this all along" that must do the explaining.

The board is better when you have differing opinions and views...not a religious cult.

I've posted this in other threads. To me, Dak's throwing ability has leveled up this year. He is hitting tight windows frequently on players on the move downfield. These are high degree of difficulty throws that he is regularly making look easy. In the past, Dak was frequently a little high or a little behind on these throws which caused bobbles, drops and INT's.
This.
Exactly this.

It's a confidence thing. For as much as they've missed on them they have hit them plenty as well. Dak believes he and his receiver will win in that situation. Sometimes he's wrong.. but plenty of times this year he has been right. Hell he heaved up that 40 yarder to Tolbert list week against one of the best corners in the league. Yes I scream for the surer throw in those situations as well.. but I get it.. these guys are uber confident and uber competitive.. They go for the jugular.

Well if your point is that those guys came into the league ahead of Dak in terms of their development it's valid. Dak was drafted as a 4th round project who was supposed to sit for two years. He was not believed to be ready for NFL action out of college. When he was pressed into action the Cowboys had to make some adjustments to their offense to hide the things Dak did not do well until he got better at those things. Which he has done. Now he does all of the things you ask a QB to do as well or better than any other QB in the league. The fact that the Cowboys got 90 wins and 3 playoff appearances out of him while he was learning is just gravy. They're going to get a lot more over the next 6-8 years.. I can live with that.

If we go far in Playoffs, give Dak and CeeDee a lot of credit. No run game, Cooks and Fergy can make big plays, but it’s sporadic. And of course, our lineman are falling down like London bricks with the latest being our best young lineman. All those MVP arguments and I have to say for once I think Dak and CeeDee should now start being considered. I am shocked that neither one has gotten hurt yet. CD is not only catching just about every play but also running the ball like a running back. Dak is running for his life, half the time, trying to run for first downs constantly. I’m sure they’ll both have their haters but much respect.
This was Tony Romo's biography that Dak is repeating.

Getting a 1st down is the jugular. Game over.

Good lad, you are not a Dak hater. Skeptic, critic, yes.
Dak, great in the regular season, easily rattled and choker in the playoffs.
