I agree with most everything you posted, except that it certainly does feel that none of the sportscasters want to give the 'boys credit. They certainly came off giving Philly far more credit than they deserve.

First of all let's put the whole conversation into perspective. Strahan AND Bradshaw said that the Eagles went totally vanilla AFTER the Felix TD. ... They also pointed out that once Philly went back to their blitzing ways, Dallas went from scoring 17 points in the 1st half to scoring 7 in the second. That statistic would support their theory of not showing the Cowboys all their defensive packages or looks and, in fact, saving something for next week (AT THAT POINT) would better serve them in attaining their ultimate goal (Super Bowl).

Huh? The fact that their defense played better late is somehow support for the argument that they stopped trying and went vanilla at some point during the game? Huh?

I did a poor job of stating my example. They had done a decent job of stifling us in the second half by blitzing more than they had in the 1st. The breakaway play by Fleix put them out of reach. At that point they took what they had learned and, theoretically, decided to apply that gameplan for next week. They knew they had slown us down with the blotz. For this week it was too late and they knew it. They'll go into next week blitzing from the locker room. Count on it.

Won't matter. Romo is going to make 'em pay.

This line of "logic" that the Iggles held back makes no sense. If the Eagles won, they didn't have to play Dallas again the following week .. in fact, they didn't have to play ANYONE the following week. It makes no sense whatsoever.

I posted in another post that the Cowboys had been shutting these people up all year. I'm one of the people they shut up. You can spend all night going back and looking at my posts. I haven't been shy about what I feel or about where I thought this team was going. I've posted it on a weekly basis. I've got nothing to hide. I've gone from "not too sure" to "believe" over a course of 17 weeks. I don't feel the need to chest thump or cower over where I thought/think about this team's chances.

Second of all, I didn't name anyone in my post. If anything you labeled YOURSELF by your reply. So you can put to rest the whole "namecalling" argument. It's like me walking into a room and saying "I hate liars!", and you you jumping out your chair and screaming "I'm not a liar!" If anyone called you a crybaby, it was you.

Believe it or not, I don't read posts and make special notes about who said what, nor do I keep track of how anyone feels over the course of a season. I look at a collection of posts and find points that I agree with or disagree with and post likewise. I don't take things personal on this board and I don't try to make things personal on this board unless I'm directly confronted. I have no idea what your responses have been in this thread until YOU quoted MY post. I don't care enough to go back and see what it was you posted before YOU engaged ME. Like I said You labeled yourself. And, yeah, you've got a right to comment on their idiocy. Just make sure you're using their comments in context. Otherwise you look like the one flexing your idiocy. I like a good argument against any hater. Taking things out of context and whining about it aren't good arguments. They're the same type of agenda's that the whiners in this thread are griping about to begin with.
