As per the OT the eagles didn't try!! **MERGE**

The only reasoning for why they "didn't show up" that makes sense to me is they were planning for a Minnesota loss. Which is stupid if true.

If Minnesota lost, Philly would have had the #2 and wouldn't have to show up. Not showing up would also leave their gameplan hidden until the 2nd, more important, meeting with the Cowboys.

Who cares what those guys have to say? Look at the stuff they were saying before the Saints game! We've proven them wrong before....just keep

BELIEVING.

Its just talk. Nobody really cares what they say. We just think its rediculous that Dallas doesn't get much respect after such a huge win. :p:

They got their butts whooped. No question about it. Anyone really think they wanted to play next week vs. resting their OL?

I call BS too. BS that Philthy didn't want another home game. BS that Philthy didn't want a bye week.

That said, Philthy's offense was very vanilla today. No reverses, no tricks w/ D.Jackson.

THAT said, Dallas' offense was pretty vanilla today too. I saw nothing out of the ordinary in the offense.

The difference was that Dallas executed, Philthy didn't. THey had the dropped passes, and couldn't stop the pressure.

Dallas CANNOT rely on that next week. They have to expect those drops to be caught. They have to expect the defensive pressure to be more substantial.

Next week will be a completely different game and I hope the players realize it now.
I know that Romo expects a different game. On his post game presser he said that he expects every blitz known to man to be thrown at him next week.

Norm just called their opinion the:

It was expressed by all of them, that the egles did not try today!! that they were saving everythingfor next week.. COME ON BS!!!

and not one of them would have made that claim had the score been reversed.

Great point, all you would have heard was how tough it will be for Dallas to go on the road and win in the playoffs. But instead it was all part of philly's master plan!

Man, I've never sen such a whining bunch of ninnies in my life.

First of all let's put the whole conversation into perspective. Strahan AND Bradshaw said that the Eagles went totally vanilla AFTER the Felix TD. They implied that at that point Philly knew they were getting their ***** handed to them and at that point theorized that Philly may have felt that they were better off not showing Dallas any more than they already had and dumbed things down at that point to keep some plays, formations and blitz packages closer to the vest to better serve them next week. At NO point did they infer that Philly went into the game with that mentality. Only when it was clear that Dallas was going to whip their *** did they dumb things down. They also pointed out that once Philly went back to their blitzing ways, Dallas went from scoring 17 points in the 1st half to scoring 7 in the second. That statistic would support their theory of not showing the Cowboys all their defensive packages or looks and, in fact, saving something for next week (AT THAT POINT) would better serve them in attaining their ultimate goal (Super Bowl).

Some of you completely suck at comprehension (note I said SOME of you). To top it off, a ****ty comprehension ability combined with a wah factor times 10 and you've got a five page thread crying about something that was taken completely out of context and spun to support a crybaby "the world hates us" agenda. Thank God the actual team has more balls than some of the whiner fans around here.

Wouldn't they have a bye and not play us?

We get it. We all suck and you have it all figured out.

Crazy how you just know everything. That is a huge talent to have. Im jaylous.

Again for the record. Nobody is crying, people are just tired that when Dallas wins a big game, some schmoe comes out and tries to imply other factors in the game that detract form a Dallas win.

Im sorry if you can't understand that ninnie.

I agree with most everything you posted, except that it certainly does feel that none of the sportscasters want to give the 'boys credit. They certainly came off giving Philly far more credit than they deserve.

Please don't dumb it so far down for some to comprehend. I hate it when you do that. ;)

Thats makes no sense, they had a chance at a bye, and they perfered to not try??, they got their butts kicked and they gonna get it kicked again.

Their first play of the game was a reverse by D.Jackson. :p:

How precious. No other retort than "bite me"? Really? No attempt at an intellectual rebuttal? Nothing? Tells me you've jumped into an argument that you lost before you dipped your toes in. Go back to whining, princess,. You're much more adept at it.

Who cares what they've been saying?

Do you think it make a damn bit of difference once the ball is kicked off.

Dallas has been shutting these people up all year.

Remember, it's "Embrace the hatred". Not "Cry like a *****."

And, no, I don't understand it. They aren't paid to coddle your precious feelings. Some say the stupid **** they do just so you'll watch. Like lemmings, many around here hang on their every word.
