Yep-2 years ago, if memory serves-when Flo went down, there were 100s of "Please Sign Ross Verba" Panic threads(and THIS despite the fact that Verba had a history of lazy work ethics, and getting kicked of other teams).

Well the season did go in the tank when Flo went down, and it didn't help that we had Bledslow in the backfield, so maybe those panic threads were well justified...maybe those who were panicking were actually on to something when they suggested picking up someone that could fill the gap. Maybe those panicked maniacs can look back at what became of that season and say, "I told you we should have signed Ross Verba."

Dallas also lacked any consistent pressure and you can't leave CB covering as long as our CB have been forced to cover. I don't care who the CB or Safety is if you give the QB to much time he will pick you apart.

It's not realistic to base a season which hasn't even been played yet solely on what you preceived happened last season. They do play the games for a reason.
