I wouldn't classify last season as going in the tank. What did happen is that we finished the season 1-3 giving up 142 points for an avg of 35.5 points per game along the way, because we didn't have a consistent pass rush and our coverage blew chunks. Totally different circumstance. However, we did make the playoffs, unlike the previous year, and should have won had it not been for a fantom fumble by Glenn and then a botched FG attempt in the 4th Qtr.

A different tank... but a tank nonetheless.

The New Galactica series is much much better then the original in many aspects- but it is NOT the greatest sci fi series of all time as some critics have claimed. Sadly it seems to be heading more towards melodrama and soap opera.

Yeah, I agree. Some critics have hyped it as 'the best sci-fi television series ever' and I don't share that opinion. I reserved that distinction for Stargate SG-1 (or at least the first six seasons of the show).

I do disagree in the direction of the show. The theme has evolved to describe how a community of people would co-exist with each other in crammed conditions for extended periods of time with a deadly enemy hunting them. I've been very pleased in the episodes to date.

I've never put anyone on ignore myself, but I don't share in the radical point-of-view though. If someone says that the season is lost, whether directly or implied, it's crazy in my book and should be addressed by anyone reading the nuttiness in an appropriate manner. But that's just me. :

Because we took a much needed Pass Rusher does NOT mean we could not have filled the CB spot ...does it not? was this our only pick? did we not have money under the CAP?
Instead we sighned a guy everybit as poor as Roy in coverage in Hamlin.
Terrible, just terrible off season when it comes to our secondary.

Tell me who this great CB talent we missed on is, cause I am just not seeing anyone on this list that could hold a candle to Newman, heck I dont see one that could be anything more than a #4 and a special team JUST LIKE YOU SAID ON DRAFT DAY!!!

Wasn't Eagles' Rod Hood available(just to add to that list)? Personally, I wouldn't have taken him either 'cuz 1) He's injury prone, 2) He would have wanted too much $$, and 3) He's really nothing more than a nickel back.
