In watching the SB replay. I had forgot that Asante Samuel could have ending the game if he would have intercepted the sideline pass.

We already have CBs that don't make the winning int. We need to Pass on AS.

Do you have any more player evaluations that you've made based on a single play that you'd like to share with the class?

I wouldn't take that Richard Seymour. He missed a sack on Eli in the biggest game of his career. We've already got Marcus Spears.

lol if samuel was about 4 inches taller he might have had a chance on that ball. *** you are watching? did you see samuel make that play in the end zone where he was running step for step with toomer and out jumped toomer and at the top of his jump managed to tip the ball away from a would be TD? ive never seen newman make that sort of play.

Your are exactly right--let's try drafting a good one like SD Chargers did.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?

So he misses one play and now he "= Newman". And since when did Newman become a yard stick to measure how bad a CB is. Somebody please explain to me what is going on. I have heard more than enough about RW, but when did the Newman bashing start? And most importantly, WHY?

I can see where he's getting at, but it's just one play, he's jumped routes before and made picks , or broke up the pass that way, many more times

I'd be thrilled if we could get another Newman... Am I alone in that?

The Commanders showed how close they are to being a contender by rallying from a 28-16 deficit to make things interesting until time expired. Before T.O.'s game-ending play, Campbell got Washington inside the Dallas 20 but blew it with an interception right into the belly of Terence Newman with 1:39 left.

Terrence Newman. He dozent makes ur game-winingn innersepshuns.

Probably because he can't.

Newman is excellent in sticking with his man.... But his ball skills aren't all that impressive.

:laugh2:

From judging a player on one play to finding a way to bash Newman... This thread sucks.

Newman > Asante Samuel

Move along! Nothing more to see here!

They are just very different. Newman is better staying close to a receiver, Samuel is better at making the QB pay for a throw.

By the way, Samuel has made interceptions of great importance in other Super Bowls.

That was a very difficult INT. I think he is a little small to be perfectly honest, I think we should try our luck in the draft

Samuel's only played in the SB against Philly and he had no interceptions.

Asante Samuel is sick.

So many people hate on this guy but he is one of the best corners in the league. With or without a Patriot Uniform.
