True, but then again Emmitt was a highly productive back at a top school, Jeanty played a lesser slate of teams.

Of course you have the Paytons, etc., who played at even smaller schools than Jeanty. Have to evaluate the player as a whole, not just measurements...

yeah the dumb claims that players have gotten a lot bigger is just that. The huge increase in size started in the early 80's and by the mid nineties had reached the end of it. Players are pretty much just as big today as they were thirty years ago.

I really do not want to take Jeanty for the simple reason I want that first pick to be a top DT because we are dead there.

BUT at the same time if we were I would not whine about taking arguably the number one talent in this draft.
