Ashton Jeanty 5'8"

I really do not want to take Jeanty for the simple reason I want that first pick to be a top DT because we are dead there.

BUT at the same time if we were I would not whine about taking arguably the number one talent in this draft.
I dont want to take Jeanty because Im not a fan of taking a back that high at all. But he is an outstanding player. 5'8 215 is pretty damn stout and with great athleticism to boot

Sadly, I think we are dead or near dead at a # of spots. We don't have a real FS on the roster, no one knows if Diggs will ever be 100%, we have perhaps 1 LB, no DTs, mediocrity at 2 or 3 OL positions, jags at TE & WR, and no RB on the roster to speak of.

I'd rather trade down, but there has to be a trade partner in able to make that worthwhile.

I agre with TNCowboy. With so many deficiencies, RB at #12 is a luxury. This draft will not get us to NFCCG anyway. It is better to re-build both lines and then pick skill players... and then repeat the process in 2026

At #12, the Cowboys had better get it right

Jeanty has the production, no question
Jeanty has speed
But size is lacking ... I would be very concerned

Moreover, this is a deep RB class

@ #12, this is a hard pass
I've only ever seen him listed at 5'9", same height as Emmitt Smith. 5'9" 215 isn't much of a concern to me.
