Alright people we need to crunch the numbers. What is our win % with the roof open?

That's pretty surprising with the high supposed to be 90 or so. Usually they won't open the roof unless the weather is absolutely perfect.

Jerry must be after those blimp shots.

90 at night? Nah, I think it'll be in the 80s which is perfect football weather.

That's why I said the high was supposed to be 90. ;)

And I'm with you on 80 being just fine. Personally, I think the roof should be open most of the time. I hate that we're basically a dome team now. But so many other times the last few years Jerry has refused to open it unless the weather is absolutely perfect. Makes no sense to me.

It's also very unusual for this to be decided a couple of days before.

Maybe like someone said, they want the Saints to feel like they're playing an outdoor game. That's the best theory I can think of.

That or Jerry finally did the math on how many bottles of Blue that A/C bill could buy.

Maybe since the Saints are a home dome team we're attempting to take them out of their comfort zone? Also maybe change the "fan" atmosphere a bit from the wine and cheese crowd to the beer and dogs crowd?

This is what I'm thinking

I'm okay with the roof being closed, but I do think they should've left it open more than they have in the past. Especially some of those afternoon games.

In some cases, I think they leave it close to project crowd noise more. I went to the the Sunday night game against Philly. It was crazy cold outside and we waited almost an hour to get inside the stadium. We were frozen. I'm not sure I would've made it sitting outside in that cold. But the atmosphere inside was super loud.

On how to beat the Saints thread, I half jokingly said open the roof and hope for inclement weather. Too bad there is no rain and wind forecast for Sunday.

I wish weather.com had 36-hour forecasts instead of 18-hour forecasts. The daily forecast for Saturday and Sunday are highs/lows of 89/67 and 90/67, respectively. Saturday's hourly forecast for 7 pm - 11 pm Arlington time are 84, 80, 78, 76, and 75. Sunday's hourly forecast is unavailable and weather predictions vary, but the similarity in (current) high/low ranges for both days suggest game temperatures beginning in the low 80s and ending in the mid-70s.

It's been beautiful here at night, the last few days.
