Attorneys: Imprisoned Quarterback Michael Vick Expects to Return to NFL

The thread title. Something about it bothers me................."Imprisoned" and "NFL" so often made use of in the same sentence these days. Yeah. That's probably it.

First things first......he has to reinstated in to the league plus he still has to face state charges I believe.

While I believe that Jerry would sign just about anyone... the simple truth is... Vick is not talented enough.

He is a GREAT athlete. Possibly a better RB than a QB.
He brings nothing of value to this team.

I agree with you on much of that, but there's always circumstances. A player like Vick would have been a nice pick up the week Romo went down and we were first looking at upwards of a month or more without our starting QB. Romo's mobility imo is primarly what we missed the most.

Or like as a re-initiation year back into the league as a backup re-earning his "stripes".

But not saying as our "future" at QB. I expect much more at that position for us than Vick has ever had to offer.

It would take Vick 3 years to learn the playbook alone.

Simply, not a very bright man.

I hear ya... to me, thats not enough of a trade off for the risk/reward.

It seems funny that a convicted felon can get out and start making huge money compared to the other felon that gets out and has a hard time landing a job a Burger King!

Herpes boy should get treated just like any other convicted felon.

Oh he'll get back in the league, without a doubt, and have a shot with someone I just don't believe there is any chance, at all, that it's in Dallas.

Good point...and, she's probably a better QB than Vick! I also hear she makes a damn good pit bull stew.

I believe Vick will find his way back in the NFL, I just hope it isn't here. There will be at least 1 team willing to give him a shot, maybe as a WR even...

He sign a one year deal....

and then sign for big money somewhere else. Dont know if he will play QB or WR... but cant teach 4.3 speed. And he is still too young to just lose it. Take him a year or so to get back it but he will be a weapon for someone.

You don't think he lost anything sitting in prison for two years?

Depends on what you mean by "anything"...............

Maybe a little arm strength and maybe some speed.... But he can get it back with about 2 years of camp, offseason and practices.

He is too good of an athlete and probably too proud to just have it dissappear.

Once Michael Vick gets his legal issues settled, I fully expect to see him back in the NFL.
