Audio: The ENTIRE Brooking vs Dennis segment!

Steve Dennis is a tool. Most of the media guys in Dallas are, and it has nothing to do with them "doing their jobs." They're tools, and they like being that way.

The worst part about it is, there is no right way for the players or coaches to handle those guys. Those media guys will find something to whine about.

Just a minute here. So you are saying that if the Saints or Colts lose this week they are losers?

Dude, I understand bitterness over a loss, but is it necessary to make it monumental?

That's my issue with all of this crap. Hyperbole run amok.

They are that week.

Not saying they have to believe they are losers but are they not losers till they win their next game?

Nope. To me a loser is a team that does not have a winning record. Any team over .500 is not a loser.

We just view it different.

I think you have to live in that moment or that week in the NFL. I know from my playing days if we lost I had that bitter taste my mouth all week and nothing would make it better, not our season record not last years record, nothing. Not until we made up for it with a win.

I felt like a loser and it motivated me to change it. Once again, I think it goes back to being content with what you are and not what you can become.

We need a poll!

Yeah, that's what losers do...they change stuff.

lol, I dont think we need to go that far. Just a difference of opinion.

I have always admitted I have a terrible sickness.

I have zero tolerance for losing......anything

I cant accept losing, I cant accept mental weakness.

If you want to put together a puzzle you better expect me at some point to try and put more pieces together then you even though we are working on it together. If I dont, were putting that puzzle together again. lol

You have too
Losers can't change stuff. Winners can.

If 8-4 is a losing record then Landry's 20 straight winning seasons is a sham.

No sir.

:muttley: You would think that bit of logic would be simple.

It's not possible for me to like a Cowboy more than I like Keith Brooking right now. Class. Leader.

DCFanatic getting some love from Mosley and ESPN

<snip>

Apparently, Brooking was listening to the news conference and Dennis' subsequent appearance on ESPN 103.3's "Galloway and Company" because he came out firing. Here's the delicious audio via the DCFanatic Blog. Try to carve out 13 minutes of your day and give it a listen.

that's awesome. it's good to see DC getting his props cause he deserves it with as much time and work he puts into his site, radio show etc. congrats DC.

This is why Brooking is beginning to become my favorite player on this team. I love to watch this guy play and how the enthusiasm he shows when he's out on the field and now how he's taking up for his coach and his teammates in a big way.

Big thanks to the guys over at The Keith Brooking Show for this entire 13+ minute audio segment from their show tonight...

Steve Dennis vs Keith Brooking

Wow. That's great stuff. This entire segment was killer.

I get both sides. Both Dennis and Brooking are right.

Dennis is doing his job as a reporter and Brooking is doing his job as a player standing up for his head coach.

I just hope this story doesn't become a distraction for the team.

I do hope it motivates the team into a win on Sunday.

Check out their site for future Keith Brooking scheduled shows.

Ummm how can Keith possibly be doing his job as a player by standing up for Wade to a media guy? you made it very clear in the other thread that you didn't like the other guys doing this cause it was stupid and a distraction.

So which is it? Is it that it's a good thing that a player, or players, stand up for him or is it bad? You can't have it both ways.

Losers certainly can change. I'm not sure what you mean by that. They simply win.

I guess the simple fact that every team starts the season with one goal in mind and they all claim nothing less is acceptable is just talk? As long as they finish at least 8-8 they are winners?

I'm sorry, I'm not buying that and any team that does has some serious issues.

I guess if you have the Wade logic it is that simple.

Player win the ball game, players hold each other accountable.

The head coach is only as good as his players.

So, in your mind the Raiders are winners?

Till someone beats them, yes.

It's no different then the old saying, "they are the champions till we crown a new one"

I'm not understanding where the confusion in this conversation is. Did the Raiders win this week? If they won they are winners.

It's the simplest meaning of the word. It's breaking it down to the core.

I think your trying to read to much into it.
