He's a guy who I didn't really know anything about until a few days ago. Then I saw that Slate hated him, so I decided he'd be worth looking into.

What do you think Colombo is 22?
They drafted a RT last year. Let's see if he can be the guy before we redraft it again. (and lets not try to put a finesse LT prospect on the right side. Square peg in round hole)

Too many people talk about him not fitting what the Cowboys like in an O Lineman. Too me the talent on the O Line has been the most over rated on the team the last 3 years. All I care about is him keeping Romo upright, and dont tell me a guy that already weighs 300 pounds is too small to run block.

People need to get over the idea that Hudson Houck controls the line. All he does is coach who the team decides to give him.

Im fine w/ drafting a more athletic linemen. Weve seen how our mauler group has faltered down the stretch of season.

But Brown is just a LT, Free is our LT

Wow some sound commentary... Brilliant!

thats where i disagree with you, only good offensive linemen that i say is good was the big og that the cardinals drafted from usc

Lutui, was his name, he is a pretty good mauling mean nasty og

and oh the ot that went to atlanta sam baker i think (but he fell off last year too due to his finese type blocking), but others have failed in the nfl, offensive and defensive line under pete carrrol,

document i saw, said that they were light, finese type blockers, not mean, nasty mauling blockers

thats why the ot justice had such a problem, was light weight and not a puncher, mauler etc..

and if you watched our games against justice in the eagles cowboys games last year, we tore him up with our defensive linemen and linebackers

i dont like the finese type blockers, we had our problems with them in the Landry years, i would rather have the big nasty mean linemen like jimmy johnson had with the cowboys

when it came most of the time, 3rd and 1, etc... we got it with our big offensive linemen like nate newton, erik williams, larry allen, give me those type linemen and you will win most of the time, not the finese type blockers

You F.B.I joe?

I really like him.

I'd take him at 27, too.

Tell those LT vultures to stay away from him.

This will probably be the pick and he may end up being solid, but not very impressive for a #1 pick.

Time for me to :lmao2: as well....

I just listened to this and I have to say it was a great interview... They actually asked him some tough questions.

I don't know what to make of those weight room answers, though... Doesn't sound like he was very serious about lifting. I mean, squatting 350 to 375 for reps? That's absolutely pathetic. I mean, horrible. I bet all our cornerbacks can do that. And he obviously doesn't power clean and hasn't since the combine because "the place where I was working out didn't have a bar"? What? It doesn't sound like this guy likes working out at all. I guess even at the biggest football factory schools, if a guy has enough talent you can't make him lift hard... But most of the best lineman like doing that stuff.

So you can take that two ways, I guess. Either he doesn't really like lifting, which isn't a good sign for his future, or he has a TON of room for improvement once he gets with an NFL strength coach and starts working out with players who are much stronger than he is. Guess this is where you have to talk to his coaches and find out about his work ethic.
