I agree mostly. Romo has shouldered the sole blame for some losses and blamed unnecessarily for others, so "numerous occasions" is a bit much. Like you said, Romo has carried this team. While Prescott and others can assign blame to him for the Washington loss, they should acknowledge how often he has helped win games and given the team opportunities to win games the team couldn't succeed in also.
Prescott was a teenager when he said he had given up on Romo. He can fall back on his immaturity and emotional state at that particular moment in his life. Others cannot use the same excuses necessarily.
No one should've said they're done with Romo to this point but they have. Perhaps Prescott tweeted thoughts about Romo that countered his quoted comments from dozens of months ago. Perhaps he didn't but knowing what he did or didn't say about Romo after the fact would have been much more fair to Prescott either way.
That responsibility, finding out and reporting anything discoverable, falls solely upon those who deliver information to the public. It's a responsibility often found lacking in today's sound bite, click bait media.
Yes..."numerous" was a bit much. I fall down and beg forgiveness at the alter of The Romosexual
