Awuzie to practice

More Awuzie...less Anthony Brown. Dilly dilly!

Brown makes me nervous out there. He's got speed, but it seems like he's out of position all the time and just hasn't been victimized yet. The way Reid likes to target the weakest link, I was sure he was going to get a healthy dose of attention from Alex Smith last week.

AB is just so handsy... I don't know what it is, whether he doesn't have the change-of-direction speed to keep up so he has to impede, or if it's just something he does without thinking.
Either way, he's not performing as well as last year, for sure.

Yeah, he's fast, and he's usually within a few feet of the action, but he's either not quite there, or he's grabbing and either getting called or has you looking around for a flag. I was worried about that Chefs game (and the Eagles are in the same boat), because they like taking those big shots doweled to the speed WRs. I thought sure we were going to see a pair of long TDs given up, but our pressure seemed to keep that under control this week. He did bite on the one double-move, but they didn't connect, so it didn't hurt us.

Last year, he was great. Hard to shake, and right there when the ball got there. Not sure why it looks different right now, but it definitely makes me sweat.

Maybe it's pressure he's putting upon himself... I don't know.
It's definitely there though. He is a penalty waiting to happen nearly every pass play.

just a simple question what position does Awuzie play when he gets on the field?
Probably will play more than one position. Outside CB, slot and a few FS plays, if he's even in for that many plays.

Almost forgot he was on the team.
Not me, I read that report when it was about 17 minutes old,,, poor cat only has 9 Regular season plays under his belt,,,shouldn't have rushed him back,,, prolly happen to #5 Tooo_O

Would love our secondary to be LCB Awuzie, RCB Lewis, slot CB O Scan, dime CB Brown, SS Woods, FS B. Jones (until we draft replacement next year).

Maybe he’s not a weak link. Smh yet another week goes by where Brown doesn’t really give up anything and it’s crying. Bring on Julio

Man, he was a 6th round rookie thrust in due to necessity last year, and turned in a stellar performance,,, he's not that much further along than these new greener guys ,cut him some luv,will'yao_O

Just making an observation of him how he is right now... he is handsy.
I'm not saying he's a scrub, or he can't iron out the wrinkles.

Just saying, Hoss.

Edit: had to add a Not in there. I wasn't calling him a scrub.
