AZ RB Chris Johnson out with hamstring injury

You mean we aren't necessarily going to live or die by DMC? The Cowboys are thinking about our RB situation and maybe, just maybe, have a plan? I scoff at such nonsense. I've been told for months and months we are ignoring that position and clearly don't have a plan which is going to cost us #6. Besides, I've already drafted Romo in all 4 of my FF leagues because I moved him to the top QB position based on us going to a full blown passing attack this year.

Don't stop believin'!

From Clarence Hill on Twitter:

McFadden was held out today because of neck stiffness

A bad mood will get you held out right now. Guys that have injury histories - Lee, Mo, McFadden - are being very carefully monitored.

Not saying I agree with it, but that's what is happening.

No idea really how McFadden will do, but you were sounding very similar to this about this time last year Stash.
Different topic (mostly whining about Ware) but same doom and gloom tone.

In late August last year, I think you described the team as "Campoesque" and would be lucky to go 5-11.

Just saying. The tone and non-stop droning was nearly identical.

Except in the case of Lee and Claiborne, they're actually coming back from significant injuries and the team is being cautious.

With McFragile, it's the next owey he's going to get that's going to keep him unavailable.

Enough is enough already.

Yeah, for some homers, any worries or criticisms are quickly labeled as 'whining', while blind faith and checking your brain at the door are encouraged. It doesn't work that way for me. Sue me.

If you called 12-4 last year, good for you. You should play the lottery. I predicted 6-10 I think as I thought the defense was historically bad and didn't think the run game would be nearly as dominant as it was, nor that two known pass-happy coordinators would have stayed committed to it.

I'm happy I was wrong, and happily admit it. Again, if you saw 12-4 coming, kudos to you. But I'd be just as willing to bet you always do, even when 5-11 follows.

I started at 7-9 to 9-7 range before settling at 9-7.....expecting slightly better defense and oline. Way below 12-4.
You were at 5-11. There were plenty with you. Most people were around 7-9 or 8-8.

My point was that when I went back and looked at some threads from last year (nothing to do with you in particular, just curious overall) I noticed you sounded last year just like you do this year.
It wasn't just a a comment hear or there, it was non-stop end of world stuff.
That was the point.

Sounds like you see what's not there and make sweeping generalizations.

I'm highly enthusiastic about this team overall and consider them a championship contender. If you follow what I say as closely as you claim, you should know that.

My concern centers around the running back position and McFragile in particular. It's one thing to let go of the NFL's leading rusher. It's quite another to count on an oft-injured draft bust your replace him in any capacity.

Well placed concern I might add, the RB position is very fragile with McFragile and Dunbar !!!! My question is "where's the beef" ?

The Free Ride is over :flagwave:

Chris Johnson looked good last night and Arians went so far as to say he looked "Extremely sharp".

Put away the shovels for now, folks
