hey to add one more note....where were all the zoners from texas.....nowhere to be found.....

Hmmm....

From what I've observed thus far, I'm assuming this has more to do with your general demeanor than a lack of support from Zoners.;)

I dont think it was Texas just Dallas but I do digree, anyhow how much was that program? $10-or $20.00

Excuse me. I offered to pay you for it and you refused, I also offered you a copy of the game on dvd with the postgame show and the Radio call, you refused.

So not sure why you are bringing those up, Am I indebted to you by the way. and again saying fans in Dallas dont know anything about football is ignorant. I dont think of myself as stupid for starters, but that is for others to determine.

oh and The program was 5 bucks and I would be happy to pay you for it anytime you want, and the offer still stands if you ever want the game on dvd.

I've never been to Texas Stadium..

but Fed Ex field has always been incredibly loud every single time I've been. Granted, I only go when the Boys play.

You don't have to "be at the game" to hear the noise.

Watch any game on T.V, and watch the Cowboy games. The noise is not close; but the' Boys don't pipe in noise, and like many people have mentioned, the concrete is probably an issue.

I hope that Arlington changes this a bit. If I offend any "real fans" in Texas (by many peoples standards, I'm not a fan because i'm in VA) - I'm sorry.

I don't recall ever seeing a thread where Dallas resident fans came out and said fans from across the nation suck. I've only seen the fans from away from Dallas call us snooty bandwaggoners. So I'm not sure where you feel attacked.

I went ahead and edited my post a bit.. but I've seen it quite a bit on this forum. If anyone complains about crowd noise, they're not a real fan because they don't live IN TEXAS and can't add to the "crowd noise"

I saw it quite a bit in the regular offseason arguement threads that come from straight boredom. I edited my post a bit because I think it didn't sound like I wanted it to.. but I've had someone(I can't remember who, it was silly, and I didn't pay much attention to it) claim I wasn't as big of a fan, or I was a fake fan, because all I did was complain, and I Lived in VA - and couldnt add to the crowd noise every home game.

It's a vicious cycle.

Over the past several years, I've posted regularly on the AOL football boards, which are wrought with flamers because they're largely unmoderated.

Consequently, the Cowboys board gets an abundance of Eagle flamers, and if their incessant ramblings are any indicator, the prevailing opinion on the east coast is that anyone who doesn't support a local team (Giants, Eagles, Jets, etc.) is a bandwagon fan, especifically if he or she is a Cowboy fan.

So it's quite likely our resident Cowboy fans from the east coast receive much grief. Unfortunately, some of them seem to overcompensate by channeling their aggressions and negativity towards the Texas-based Cowboy fans on various message boards.

Any person that truly believes it's the city that keeps Texas Stadium from being super loud has obviously never followed Mavericks basketball. While not the loudest arena in the NBA, it most definitely does get loud and back in the 80s, when the Mavericks were good and playing the newly constructed Reunion Arena, there weren't many louder. It was as hard to play at Reunion as it was anywhere else.

Some of it has to do with construction and some of it has to do with ticket prices and the fans who can afford those tickets, but to just generalize the entire area as bandwagoner and clueless fans who don't cheer as much as they should...well....suck it. ;)
